You'd love it here! In all sincerity, I want to tell you that if Vicksburg isn't the best Southern city, it's the perfect Southern city. MS is beautiful and the people are the nicest and most friendly I have ever encountered.
We're the poorest state, but per capita, we're the most charitable state! We are also rated more solidly GOP than Utah! How about that?

It may be that some projects will be like that. Some of my relatives survived the depression with the help of the WPA. And they worked hard and lived in some pretty hard conditions.
