Lousiana Gov. Kathleen Blanco, right, tries to keep control of her hair from the wind from President Bush's helicopter arrival on the Iwo Jima in New Orleans, Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005. Also watching are from left, Vice Admiral Thad Allen, Lt. Gen. Russ Honore, Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff, and New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin. Bush will announce a new reconstruction plan Thursday night during a televised address also aimed at mending his image as a strong leader in a time of crisis.. (AP Photo/Susan Walsh)

Hello all. Is anyone going to give a play by play for the TVless among us? You want a regular or Bush Bash version?
To: DC Bound

He really let the European press have it though, didn't he. The only thing is that the European press was happy after 9/11 too. That's not played up, but they were gleeful.
Fact is: the Europeans hate us. I don't really worry about them anymore.
The funny thing is our media is really part of the international leftist media. But they have to pretend they are American.
But sometimes they forget. Remember the marine in Fallujah story.
How the American media played it and played it for several days and then all of a sudden dropped it and never hyped the story or went back to it again. I thought they would replay it after the marine's acquittal, but no.
Something happened there.

I heard on the radio today that Sen. Cornyn promised that he would see that TExas gets paid back for what we have spent on the hurricane people...
(crossing fingers)...
I saw a thing on Fox tonight, where some conservative congresscritters want some of the congresscritters to give up some of the "pork" projects that equal about 54 BILLION out of this last spending bill....no one is planning on doing that...

From their conduct, the Dems give the appearance that they already are that scared :D
I think that they are more afraid of dissent as the "coalition" that they hold is getting more fragile.
