I heard on the radio today that Sen. Cornyn promised that he would see that TExas gets paid back for what we have spent on the hurricane people...

I saw a thing on Fox tonight, where some conservative congresscritters want some of the congresscritters to give up some of the "pork" projects that equal about 54 BILLION out of this last spending bill....no one is planning on doing that...

I think it would guarantee longevity in 2006, they just have to be convinced it's the right thing to do politically, unfortunately.
