As for getting sick, this is all they know. Whenever someone speaks up, they run the risk of being ruined politically and perhaps also professionally.
Look what they did to Zell.
And from what I hear, the left wing of the DNC wants to oust the conservative Dems and moderates. Also by ruining them politically (and may resort to professional ruin).

I saw a thing on Fox tonight, where some conservative congresscritters want some of the congresscritters to give up some of the "pork" projects that equal about 54 BILLION out of this last spending bill....no one is planning on doing that...That was probably Congressman Mike Pence of Indiana. He's a favorite of mine.
