ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) -- A court ruled Wednesday that three suspects in the disappearance of a U.S. teenager can remain free without conditions -- overturning an earlier decision that restricted their travel and required them to remain available to investigators.
The appeals court ruled there was a "lack of sufficient grounds and serious suspicions" to keep the restrictions on Joran van der Sloot and two Surinamese brothers, Deepak and Satish Kalpoe, the Aruban prosecutor's office said.
The three young men remain suspects in the May 30 disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway, the prosecutor's office said in a statement.
Holloway, 18, vanished on the final night of a high school graduation trip to the Dutch Caribbean island. Extensive searches have failed to find any trace of her.
Van der Sloot, 18, and the Kalpoe brothers -- the last people seen in public with the American -- were released from jail on September 3 on the condition they remain available for questioning.
Van der Sloot, who is Dutch, has since left for college in Holland, where he traveled with the court's permission. The Kalpoe brothers were barred from leaving Aruba.
Prosecutors filed an appeal seeking to have all three returned to jail, but the court rejected the request and removed the restrictions, said David Kock, a lawyer for 18-year-old Satish Kalpoe.
"They are totally free," Kock said.

I agree with you: there will never be a prosecution in this case. Beth is back in the US. I can't imagine how she will move on without the answers she has so desperately and bravely fought for. Her girl is gone forever and she may go to her grave not knowing how or why. I can't imagine anything more horrible.
"I love the place, and the average joe there will give you his shirt, if you need it!"
ACtually, I'm only interested in three shirts - and low lives who wear them.
Oh, no thanks. I can live forever without seeing Shoji Tabuchi and the other has-been acts! Seriously, that place is for old people.
How do you like fishing trips?

Nor can I! I would probably lose my mind! Those "boys" are so smug and arrogant, they will probably brag about what they did sometime, somewhere to someone, and it will finally come out, but it will be too late to prosecute them. Does Aruba have a statute of limitations?
"I will be looking forward to the big budget movie rendering; and, hope that it does to Aruba what Jaws did to beach goers. Aruba should be left to drown in its own excrement."
Hollywood sympathetic to a young white American!? Surely you jest!
They can be very.......satisfying.
Our family has been talking about a family cruise, but it won't be to Aruba! Does anyone have an address in Aruba where we can let them know how corrupt we think their legal system is. I would not be surprised to learn all three of these boys plus the DJ who lied for them (and claimed he didn't know them)are involved in a sex ring and drug cartel.
What does Aruba got anyway besides underage gambling and drinking and easy access to drugs and hos?
whatever. People need our coin all over the world. We don't owe them nuthin. And giving me his shirt? Well, I'm sure everything is negotiable, but I doubt the giving part.
The government never searched the vanderslut estate. Nuff said.
Amsterdam has an insatiable appetite for drugs and porn. Especially from blue warm sandy iles since theirs is anything but.
All the addresses you could want are here: http://www.drphil.com/shows/page/Natalee_Resources/
Interesting.
Didn't know that.
I thought I posted this hours ago, but was surprised to see it had not been posted. Maybe I didn't click the Post button. Anyway, I do thank you very much for the website.
Did you find out what they said on Dr. Phil about new evidence? Can you summurize it?
