Please take note of the "Republicans" who voted in favor of adding "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" to FEDERAL hate crimes legislation. Feel free to let these "leaders" know your feelings on the matter.

The following links can be used to send a fax via email to the congress-critter named. Faxes are much more effective than emails, btw. My rep is the Dishonorable Jim Saxton. If your rep is on the list, please contact him/her/it.

I think they ought to pass a law that gives the President special protection against all this hate as well. After all, who "hates" him more and would like to see him gone. The liberals are consumed with hatred.

I found the following news to be just sickening but am heartened that the Chancellor made the right decision....

UWGB pulls painting of Bush with a gun to his head (with audio) Was it art, or a threat against the president? U-W Green Bay has pulled a painting that was set to go on display Thursday. It was a picture of President Bush with a revolver pointed at his head. The Secret Service investigated the artwork and did not consider it a threat. Chancellor Bruce Shepard doesn't see it that way. He says any reasonable person would say the artwork advocates assasination. Shepard says people have the right to express themselves on a college campus. But, when it's in a university gallery and they are paying the bills, they have the right to decide what will be associated with their name.

Sick puppies in this world.

And this is WHAT IS IMPORTANT to the U.S. Congress...clearly final testimony to the fact that the U.S. Congress, and most of Washington, for that matter, is totally out of control. Clearly, perverted politics, before the needs and IMPORTANT interests of the American people.

Unfortunately 5 of these 30 spineless Republicans came from Illinois. (and we only have 9 Republicans in total!) Biggert (sorry to say she's my rep), Kirk, LaHood, Shimkus, and Weller voted for this mess. I wonder if there was some pork in the bill form Illinois. Even it that were so, it still makes me sick!

Just called Rob Simmons from CT.

An aide answered and hung up on me.

Aide: Hello, Congressman Simmons' office.

Me: Did Congressman Simmons vote for that pro-homosexual legis....(CLICK)

REDIAL

Aide: Hello, Congressman Simmons' office.

ME: Did you just hang up on me?

Aide: I said Hello three times and no one was there.

ME: Look son, I know you've had a tough day and it's just begun. But don't make things worse by telling lies and insulting your boss's constituents. Now, this is XXX from Woodstock, CT calling and I want to know if your boss, whom I worked my butt off to get elected over Sam Gedjensen, voted for the pro-homosexual legislation contained in H.R. 3132 Ammendment 25 yesterday?

Aide: Um, what was that bill again?

Me: H.R. 3132 - Ammendment 25 about pro-homosexual legislation for hate crimes, giving homosexuals more protection under the law than other citizens. And your tone of voice tells me you are insulting my intelligence by pretending not to know what I am talking about.

Aide: Um, let me check on that.

Me: You do that Sonny-boy.

(On Hold for 2 minutes - I timed it)

Aid: Um. Hello, sir.

Me: Yes, Son.

Aide: Um, yes sir he did vote for it.

Me: Well, you tell Robbie-boy he just lost 5 votes and contributions in my family for his pathetic pandering to the homosexuals in New London and Groton. And you can expect more phone calls from everyone I talk to up here. Now you have a wonderful day Kiddo and don't insult any more of the people who pay your salary and hold the power of your job and your Boss's job in their voting fingers.

Me: Oh, and tell Robbie-boy to watch out when he comes begging for money up here again. Cause I will be waiting for him.

Here's the letter I faxed to my no-account Rep., the dishonorable Jim Saxton:

Dear Rep. Saxton,

I am utterly disgusted to find out that you voted "Aye" to Amendment #25 of HR 3121 adding "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" to the special classes of citizens deserving more protection under the law than the rest of us plebs. What an unbelievably gutless and pathetic vote!

Several months ago, I had written to you asking you to stand up for the traditional family and reject the politics of radical homosexuals seeking special rights. Your response was noncommittal at best.

By this vote, you have disqualified yourself as a legitimate candidate for office in my mind. It's clear to me now that you are not a friend of NJ families and therefore, you will NEVER get another vote from me or my family members again. I will actively campaign against you in the next election and will encourage a primary challenge against you in 2006.

The attempted overthrow of nearly 230 years of American respect and exaltation of the traditional family will not succeed. And politicians, like yourself, who will not defend that august institution will be defeated.

Sincerely,

etc.

I am disgusted that Mike Fitzpatrick voted for this piece of shiat legislation. He took a lot of heat in his campaign for being pro-life and pro-family, and was supposedly "too conservatuve" for this district. His special election opponent just dropped out of the 2004 race and the remaining Democrats are unknowns. Why did he think he needed to vote for this? It's not like there are hundreds of hate crimes against homos happening in Bucks County! And the homos around here aren't going to vote for him anyway. Jeeeeeez.

"Hate" crimes as a definition should be considered unconstitutional as it affords special protective status to certain groups bassed on ethnicity, etc.

If somebody kills you dead, the reason, unless there is justification, is irrelevant.

This Country is going down the tubes - at an accelerating rate.

The Constitution states that Congress shall that the power "To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes."

How the hell can a violent act between individuals, regardless of motivation, be construed as commerce subject to federal regulation?

Read this absurd Supreme Court case for a clear example of judicial activism. Wickard v. Filburn (New Deal law punishes small farmer for growing wheat on his own land - even for his own consumption)

One would like to think that the "commerce" clause exists to promote free and fair trade among the states (prohibit trade barriers). How ignorant of us to be so inclined. Should have known all along that the Founding Fathers intended the commerce clause to empower the federal government to punish gay bashing.

Dave Reichert, RINO, Bellevue, WA. This state is so badly hosed. This is the guy responsible for catching the Green River killer, and ran against a local talk show lib named Dave Ross. He took over the seat of a solid R who's name escapes me now. The prior officeholder was a woman who was a real rising star in the party and just decided to get out of politics.
