I was listening to John and Ken on KFI640 interviewing Councilman Bernard Parks. Parks is introducing legislation to force home centers such as Home Depot and Lowes to build their own ILLEGAL ALIEN LOUNGES because those stores HAVE CREATED THE ILLEGAL ALIEN MESS!
John took great exception to this, saying that it was the City of Los Angeles long time non-enforcement of citizenship laws that has caused the problem. The discussion turned into an arguing match, with Bernard Parks basically stating that it was Home Depot and Lowes fault that cause illegals to loiter all over Southern California.
John went on to say the LAPD Special Rule 40 and its adherence to it by Darryl Gates, Willie Williams, Bernard Parks and William Bratton KILLED more people in the City of Los Angeles than the LAPD has saved...or something to that effect.
Now on KCAL9 they show Mayor Villaracista in Washington D.C. for some visit, and I think he mis-spoke, but I swear he just said that Los Angeles largest export was gang members.
Oh, and several media members are now stating that the great LA blackout was sabotage by the LADWP union which is trying to push through a 40% pay increase.
Fun days, huh...............FRegards
A 40% pay increase and selective enforcement.
Get out of there, NOW!!! You can always come back if the federal government sends in the troops and cleans house. Then again...
You'd be amazed at the number of people who rant and rave about illegal immigration who will then hire Home Depot day labor, maids, etc.
This is dumb. It would only encourage more illegal aliens to gather there. It would just end up being an unofficial employment office.
Well, not that I agree with illegal alien lounges at all, but I've pulled into Home Depot to get construction supplies and came out to find someone*ahem* had climbed on top of my van to and tried to break into the carrier full of tools on top. Dents and scratches all over my roof. Corral those dudes up someplace, keep em out of the parking lots, at least. Sometimes I just want to drive up to a group of em and give em all wedgies.
Im not sure what is going on here. Illegal aliens congregating at Home Depot stores? Ive never seen anything like it at the Home Depots in Reno or Carson City, Nevada that I frequent
I know this is off topic, but I
LOLed at your tagline. ;o)
Well...
Let me direct you to Home Depot in Santa Ana, Ca, where a consistent group of Day Laborers,(illegals) accost any passing Contractor for work. The Ticket for hiring them in CA is 700.00....
We don't yet have this problem on Co Springs.
Did I forget to mention that HD stores in El Paso have these "lounges"....
Did I forget to mention that HD stores in El Paso have these "lounges"....
I personally spoked to LAPD officers on this...the City of Los Angeles directive to LAPD is non-enforcement of citizenship laws ..LAPD can not even ask if you an illegal
The questioning of citizenship is also taboo in Denver, a so called "Sanctuary City"
You can bank on this: I never ever hired an illegal.
Funny you should mention that. There was an incident where a public employee referred to a nearby convenience store parking lot as the "unemployment office" for someone who had called their chamber of commerce looking for where they could hire workers to clear brush. The parking lot was where illegals were known to gather. It happened in San Diego County (I can't recall now if it was the city of Julian or Ramona) and the incident was investigated and confirmed by the Rick Roberts Show / "Local 8" news.
I haven't seen any of these lounges in San Diego but it doesn't take anything to know where the migrants gather. The routinely gather near Highway 56 in two locations, one next to a school and the other near a skateboard park. Their encampment is in an environmentally sensitive area. See photos
ICE, local law enforcement won't lift a finger.
Each day, this state more closely resembles some fictional land in a comic opera.

Sometimes I just want to drive into a group of em...
I don't think he (UJC) necessarily meant on this forum.
I personally know a few too. Some so called upstanding businessmen in my community who are building their starter castles with illegals. It maximizes the bottom line don'tcha know?
