Wow-
Big man to think: truly out of the box, piss off a lot of his peers, see the reality/handwriting on the wall-which many can't because of their narrow-mindedness and urge of satisfying only oneself instantly in a complete vacuum of whats best for the nation, state, city, community or even family.
To the democrats dismay, more and more Hispanics and Blacks are joining the ranks of conservatives.

"To the democrats dismay, more and more Hispanics and Blacks are joining the ranks of conservatives."
=============================
The Democrats will ride this pony straight into the White House in 2008.
Its too late, the third world is already in, and employers
cant hire enough of them. Our only recourse is to learn to live on less and under bid them ( not a pleasant prospect is it? )
George Putnam was on this 30 years ago, and still is.
Unfortunatley, you may be right. Big time damage has been done. Only strong leadership...Or certain, unseen events will save this country.
Thanks for the link. He's been telling us for many years that this must stop. Few of our leaders listened, and are more concerned with votes, money and power.
cripplecreek: You're catching on. We, the citizens, really do send the best people we can up there. The machine in place for decades gobbles them up and compromises them with amazing efficiency (see 'Mr. Smith Goes To Washington"). Very few are smart/strong enough to withstand it.
IsCool: The management agenda must be communicated to our less perceptive neighbors. It's proponents' strength is the general publics' ignorance. Ask them how the parties are different these days and be amused at their confoundment. Then ask them what the parties combined agenda is. If this isn't the best time for a morally superior party to step up I don't know what is. But hey, Waco was all about a naive fascist-feminist going way over the top and out of her depth soon after the reins of power were handed to her by Slick Willy. Those two deserve the blame, but most of it's on Bill for a bad appointment.
Das Outsider: The confusion is on purpose. You're referring to people who purposely obfuscate the difference between legal immigrants and illegal aliens every chance they can. Those people are traitors. I agree with your speed limit observation and resent that I have to break the law myself four to nine MPH over posted signs in order to maintain safety in the flow. The speeders are costing me unnecessarily wasted gasoline. Ol' George is da' man!
MMercier: "The power inherent in this country and the decentralization of that vast power into the hands of individual citizens is a development the likes of which history has no parallel." Humans being humans, I can't see them pulling this off. It's far more likely that the bastards will continue as they are, mutually teaming to rip us off but failing to bring off a true coup because of the entrenched bureaucracy culture (the hidden government) and their innate distrust of everything not them. I never thought the day would come when I'd be thankful for the entrenched bureaucrats, but there it is. Their resistance to change is truly legendary and may, for once, work for the public good.
Henderson Field: They're not ALL socialists, you're just taking a super-pessimistic view right now. If there wasn't hope of correcting all these bad trends I sure would have been gone about two years ago when Bush made it plain that he was for illegal immigration despite the Constitution and our laws. Congress rides herd on him and we have to ride herd on Congress. The ball's still in play and I'll be damned if I throw in the towel before every effort I can contribute is expended. It's still our nation to fight for or lose.
EagleUSA: If you're Phyllis Schlafely you ought to fess up. Only neos, trolls and celebs habitually leave their home pages blank for years.

We will fight the good fight.
IMHO, Louisiana will be a major battleground.
NOLA reconstruction bears strong watching over the next six months.
He makes a ridiculous assertion by saying"I am Mexican myself so I can't be anti-Mexican"!
I know plenty of whites who are disdainful of other whites, loads of blacks who have very negative views on other blacks as well as some Asians who do everything they can to run away from their background and culture so that "I can't be anti-Mexican"statement is a crock.

Har! Well, I will take the question as a complement! :-)
No I am not Phyllis - although it would probably be fun to have been a fly on the wall during her "Reagan Years" -- besides I am the wrong sex too. Strong Constitutional conservative, and social and fiscal conservative, as you might tell from my to-the-point, non-PC, posts :-)
Phyllis and Ann would make a one-two punch team, would they not??
The machine in place for decades gobbles them up and compromises them with amazing efficiency (see 'Mr. Smith Goes To Washington"). Very few are smart/strong enough to withstand it.

True. Been watching the tragic result of this machine for decades. The concept of the professional politician was one of the very few things that our founders missed in the drafting of our precious documents...this one snuck right past them. And it has bitten us badly.
Term limits - only solution from my perspective.
Your writing style is close to hers and she is the head of Eagle Forum. Pardon me for overconnecting dots. Yes, it is a commpliment to be mistaken for such a clear thinker.
Ted Kennedy is the standard every schoolchild should be shown for the example of everything wrong about career politicians. He degraded our pre-1964 immigration standards and dismantled Reagan's employer sanctions piecemeal until they were meaningless. He devotes his efforts to every hyperliberal/antiAmerican cause and gets Republican idiots like McCain to do his bidding. Aaargh! Cease breathing already, Ted. It would be the most patriotic act of your sorry life.
Count me in too.

That's one of the few polls I trust. JimRob has a great way of categorizing members/nomembers with a wide range of possible answers.
Now the statement is correct.
"Illegal immigration"
Its illegal invasion, not immigration.
The libs keep using that term, we need to correct them.
illegal immigration started in 1492...
:)
