When are people going to get over it and realize what this country was founded on!

Dirt?

:-)

I should mention that I personally don't believe in organized religion. That doesn't mean that I want to keep others from it and I certainly don't think we should destroy what this nation was founded on.

"There's going to be a new war of the states soon."

Time for a scientific experiment. Pick out one state and allow gay marriage, high taxes, no prayer or pledge in the schools, no religious symbols in public and all artistic perverted expressions. Then lets observe how long before this hedonistic, godless Nirvana begins to crumble. Let the lesson be observed by all. Calif and Mass not far off as is.

To be honest, I don't really want to calm down.  I'm tired of being calm and I'm tired of this crap.  To me, this is a disgrace and I am sick of these pansy liberal judges tearing down everything that people fought and died for.  This issue is just one of countless ways that the left is slowly tearing apart this country.  Whether you agree with me or not is fine, you are entitled to your opinion, but to me it is a slap in the face to all patriotic Americans.

Of course, that's just my humble, and not-so calm, opinion.  =)

Boy, we just can't win--we have a judge that rules that the Pledge is unconstitutional, and an Admin. Mod. that mandates that some threads here are unFreeptutional.

Now, don't kick me off--I really like it here.

Does any one Know the oath this judge took for his office?

28 U.S.C. § 453. Oaths of justices and judges:

Each justice or judge of the United States shall take the following oath or affirmation before performing the duties of his office: “I, XXX XXX, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as XXX under the Constitution and laws of the United States. So help me God.”

I would note that it is possible that the particular judge chose to affirm rather than swear, in which case the "So help me god" would most likely not be said. Wouldn't know without access to the exact oath undertaken by the judge.

This Presidency is lining itself up as having the most constitutional rights lost of any administration in United States history.

sweet - talk about raising the hackles of every God-Fearing citizen in the United States!!!!

I predict a swift and glorious confirmation of Judge Roberts, a second swift and sweet confirmation of SDO'C's replacement, and several swift head shots at the 9th and all others that support it.

When are people going to get over it and realize what this country was founded on!

Please indicate the section of the Constitution which you are referring to.

I don't understand your comment ... this country was not founded on the Constitution ... it simply describes how men in this country will govern one another ...
