The Dem playbook
The Hill newspaper gives us a peek at the Democratic playbook for the Roberts hearings. Below are the attack assignments for the Democratic members of the Committee:
Kennedy -- civil rights
Leahy -- Bybee torture memo
Biden -- privacy, personal autonomyand the 9th Amendment
Kohl -- Property rights and civil liberties
Feinstein -- "judicial activism" and Roe vs. Wade
Feingold -- limits of executive powers
Schumer and Durbin have wisely refused to show their hand.

I think I recall that too.
HAHA! that is hilarious!! Poor chuck! What to do without an audience. Oh...a mirror??
Dianne Feinstein supported Roberts in 2003. So did a few other members of the committee.
I'm surprised that they're even bothering. If they had anything damaging about Roberts, we would have heard about it weeks ago.
Bob Jones... aha -- turbin thinks he's hitting a homer.
Durbin bringing up liberal bogeyman Bob Jones U.
It's sad really, he's got nothing.
Darn no more split screen on c-span. Please keep us updated with highlights from the Turbin!
HA! He was ethically barred.
Strange indeed. Didn't know who Tweety was until seeing a link quoting an insensitive statement he made. And here I thought he played very well to the leftists.
Who does the research for these clowns?
He's trying to pull a fast one... make Roberts think he's really got something.. a memo in his handwriting. BFD.
Poor Durbin. Roberts could not participate in the Bob Jones matter. Oh, rats, there goes my feed and they've gone to House business in C-Span.
What's with the '82 memo and durbin's "not a surprise"???
And Moon Landrieu (of the huge non-pump installation after receiving federal funds), is their father.
Their staff. Very partisan young people. None are a match for Roberts.
Actually, what I heard - perhaps on the Tony Snow show - was that the legislature was considering impeachment, not resignation.
And that is an unpardonable sin to the DU's.
I also thought the left would love Mathews. He's always on their side with every issue. He absolutely loved LURCH. I wonder what their problem is.........
Turbin stated the memo is in Roberts' handwriting. No big deal, no matter the content. He was working FOR somebody else as an advocate.
I know he can't :-)
