Kennedy -- civil rights
Leahy -- Bybee torture memo
Biden -- privacy, personal autonomyand the 9th Amendment
Kohl -- Property rights and civil liberties
Feinstein -- "judicial activism" and Roe vs. Wade

Lindsey is in serious trouble in SC. Ravenel is breathing down his back.
Judge Roberts is starting to talk too much. I hope he's not tired. The less he says now, the better.
Please, God, make Lindsey's time go faster, faster, faster. What a jerk he is.
Leni
doesn't he look like Tom Hankes to you ? That All-American boy kinda look ? Good looking, but not pretty? I think Roberts wears contacts because of the way his eyes are always sooooooooo wide open.
My favorite part of what I've seen was his telling the panel he's not a politician who buys votes with promises .. to paraphrase .. what a velvet gloved whuppin !!!
So you think Roberts should say, "Yes, I've studied Roe v. Wade extensively and find that it is repugnant to the Constitution. I shall see that it is overturned as soon as I am confirmed."
What part of --"It is unethical and improper for a nominee to pre-judge a case that may come before him"--- that you don't understand?
What the hell is Lindsey getting at?
It seems he's trying to get Roberts to say he is a conservative. Now with this flag question, perhaps Lindsey thinks he is conservative enough. I don't know... it's strange.
With his 5 o'clock shadow, Judge Roberts is beginning to look like Clark Gable.
Mostly he's grandstanding.
This is really strange. He's supposed to be supporting Roberts, but he's trying to paint him as a Reagan conservative, opposed to affirmative action, etc. And now he's asking outright about flag-burning, trying to get Roberts to criticize the Dems. What on earth does he think he's accomplishing???
OK. Lindsay has lost it. He's doing damage, whether knowingly or unknowingly.
JMJ -- Lindsay is off the wall.
Roberts can't comment and Lindsay knows it!
Dammit.
LG is amazing in this line of questioning. Do you see what he is doing?
Linds is grandstanding. Want's to make a name for himself by associating himself with Reagan, and stomping on Dems on this issue of the Courts.
Mrs. Roberts is very lucky.
LG is pointing out that a judge doesn't have to make a deal to right the wrongs of society. That's not the role of a judge.
What the hell in this nitwit doing.
He's asking him how he FEELS?? What a sissy boy question!
Gawd. Lindsay is just off the wall. I don't get it.
He knows damn well that Roberts cannot comment on several subjects.
What has caused the trouble for Lindsey Graham in SC?
"Mrs. Roberts is very lucky."
and, I imagine, so is he !!
