FReepers, sometimes the other side just makes it so easy for us. My original report regarding the Sierra Club Summit is linked above.
After giving a stirring speech on saving the planet, Arianna Huffington walked right past me outside. A friend was able to take this photo of her Chevrolet Suburban waiting for her across the street. She parked across the street rather than being dropped off next to the hyrbrid vehicles that were showcased in front of the Sierra Club Summit. She didn't dare get dropped off in front of her environmentalist pals at the Moscone Center building where she was speaking.
I watched Arianna and her driver get into the vehicle and take off together. No entourage. Just the driver in front and Arianna in the back. I quickly borrowed a camera and took some more pictures from a distance of her in the car, but I don't know if they will be able to show her as recognizable. Those pictures should be in my hands later today or tomorrow. Although I yelled for her to wave to me, she didn't play for the camera.
Way to go, Arianna. Your husband outed himself after the California Senate race. In broad daylight you now outed yourself as an incredible foolish hypocrite. And at the Sierra Club Summit no less. Just FReeping amazing.
(Thanks to blurblogger for sizing and creating the hosting link.)
Oh, I know. The Suburban was going somewhere anyway. Right, Arianna?
Thanks for the confirmation.
That's good work Doug.
Why isn't Arianna (and her SUV and her chauffeur) in New Orleans?
Why isn't she helping in the relief effort?
Doesn't she care?
She must hate Black people.
Arianna is a dentist?!
Ah yes the elite....Remember Barbra S. telling housewives to hang their laundry on the line to save energy in not using their dryers. Give me a break....
The dental convention was across the street. She had to park across the street so she wouldn't be seen by her leftist environmental pals where she was speaking. Can you imagine if she were dropped off right next to the hybrid and fuel cell vehicles that were there for conventioneers to test drive?
The Chauffeur did it.
He was burning the gas as he drove himself in the SUV.
Arianna was only thumbing a ride.
I think that was flag in front of the building where the dentist convention was being held. I actually sat next to a dentist heading to the convention on my trip up to SF. He left stinking Canada because he couldn't stand the socialists.
If nothing else, Kerry was good for a few laughs during his run for the Presidency.
What does he drive, you ask? A Kings Ranch Ford diesel dually.
Of course, Arianna was the person who proved homosexuality is not genetic. Michael was 110% straight when he married her.
"It gets around 8-10mpg in the city"
That's baloney, I never get that bad a mileage even when pulling a two ton horse trailer.
For the record. I am an environmentalist. I believe it is in the strategic national interest of this country to lessen our dependency on foreign oil. I want this nation to benefit economically from the technology of hybrids and fuel cells. We should carpool when we can, get our butts on a bicycle seat when we can, and do other things that lessen the use of fossil fuels. That is a good thing. Automakers need to keep working to make cars cleaner and more efficient. But we have to mock these celebrities who tell everyone else what to do. Yep, they want the little people to do what is right, but the elite can do what they want. Arianna, STFU!
That's how the liberals get by with their hypocritical behavior; the "green" bumper stickers are a sort of antidote for the car.
Good job Doug! You'd think Ms. Hufflepuff would have gotten out a block away then folded herself into a Prius for her arrival at a Kool-aid festival.
LOL I liked salivia.
Absolutely. All she had to do was park a half block away in a parking garage, and no one would have been the wiser.
