Does anyone have a video tape of FOX News coverage on 9-11, 2001, one that starts with the tape just shortly before the attacks on the WTC took place, or a tape that started immediately after they first started coverage. I really want a tape of that to watch every 9-11, especially to show my kids when they're older, so they can better understand what happened, by being able to sit and watch it as though it was happening live. If anyone has a tape of this, or knows where I can get one. Please let me know. Or if FOX News has them for sale, please let me know where at FOX to contact. Especially since it's been 4 years now, and the liberal media and democrats want to forget 9-11 as soon as possible, since it's not an election plus for them. Thank you.

Recorded as it happened. Alot of it was lost when the original site went down 3 years ago. This was bits and pieces of it. Still gives you a good idea of what was felt that day. There is no Bush Bashing. The Libs hadn't figured out what to blame on him.
Absolutely right. My wife was home that day and taped some of it ...I recall CNN describing it as a "control tower/computer problem " after the 2nd plane hit. Even after the bombing in '93 the thought of terrorism never entered this dimwit's mind.No reason to archive that.
I'm not sure...I'll bet it is. I got my copy at Best Buy. If they don't have it, they can order it.
You might also try Amazon.com.
The title of the DVD is "In Memorium."
Excellent documentary.
Thanks a lot for the help.
I misspelled it: "In Memoriam."
Amazon.com has it:

I assume you mean uninterrupted raw transmission?
That CNN coverage may not have been archived per se' but it did make it into the Flight 93 movie last night. I could not believe I was hearing what I was hearing from the CNN dimwit -- What type of electrical/control problem could result in two planes crashing into the tower? Talk about not getting it.

When you have time and can check out that first tape, if it's FOX News most of the time, I'd love a copy if you can make one. I can pay you for the tape and shipping of course. Thansk.
Thanks alot for the URL. It says I have a "browser bug" when I open it for some reason, but I'll search Amazon for the name In Memoriam. Thank you.
What is "bttt"? Still kinda new here. :)
If you are still looking for one, feel free to shoot me a message sometime next summer, and there is a chance you'll have a tape in time for the next anniversary.
"Bump to the top". It's purpose is to bookmark it for later. Nothing you have to do; it's just for me, so that the thread will be in my "pings" page so that I can refer to it later.

Oh okay, thanks. Wasn't sure what that meant. I know "bump" though, so I'm not a total loss. 8)
Check my next post, I think I found a really great thing. They seem like really nice people, and doing copies for entities and individuals of uninterrupted news coverage is what they do for a living. Jackpot I think.
JACKPOT!!! I did some digging on the phone for a while, and thanks to FOX News, got referred to a company called "Track News". They tape major news stations all day, and have FOX News archived on 9-11-01, starting either just before the first mention of the first tower being hit, or just a few minutes after the first mention. Available on either VHS, 6 hours, or DVD 4 hours. The original tapes of that day were on EP, so to maintain decent video quality, they recommend not getting more than 4 hours per DVD. You can get the first eight hours of FOX News on 9-11-2001, on two DVD's, for $207.00. $100 per disk, $7 for processing and shipping. Based on what I found calling around, $25.00 per hour is dirt cheap. FOX itself charges $50 or more per hour for archived footage, and they don't even offer this for programming before 4 P.M. ET on 9-11 or any day. So $207.00 for the first 8 hours of FOX News coverage of the attacks is a real bargain, and an amazing archive tool. Don't know if I could sit through it all at once, but it will be nice to have, since the liberal media and democrats go out of their way to bury 9-11 and any footage of it. This companies number is (800)949-6397 and their website is http:www.tracktvinc.com . Ask for Cindy. And if you order it, please tell her that Allen in Texarkana referred you. After just moving we don't have a ton of money, and they'll give me a discount for referred orders. So if anyone orders this, please do that for me. Thank you. I hope it's okay posting this. I thought there might be many here like me that would like to have that coverage on DVD to watch on 9-11 anniversaries, and, maybe most importantly, to show out kids when they're old enough, so they can watch it like we watched it as it happened and really understand how everyone felt that day.
