Bayh will be mean and sleazy to appeal to the left

Bayh will know that his home constituents are paying attention and teeter on the fence. (Move-On has actually been running anti Bayh ads in the state. Can't imagine he's too happy about that.)

Ha! Splendid! More "blah-blah-blah" to contribute too nonexisent "global warming". Guess that'll mean this thread will keep fairly mellow and low-traffic until Roberts gets on the stand tomorrow.

The opening statements of the Roberts inquisition will start today. Few opposition Senators will take the advice of Ted Olson. Although they should. Especially Shuckie Chumer.

the money here says no way..

I think you have that right, just imagine if he makes a decision the libs don't like and she had voted for him?

Of course the Judiciary was never intended to be political but the RATS have destroyed that concept(with the help of the court of course).

I heard that b4 TV(up until the early 1950's) there were no confirmation hearings at all.

Judicial nominees would not participate, they were just voted on, up or down period.

I wish I could stick around for the fun.

Not to worry, the real fun will not come today. Today is for bloviating Senators, 18 opening statements, UGH.

That's why mute buttons were invented.
