Does NOLA beat out Times Sq of the 70's and 80's? In the French 25, late at night, you see a lot of the same typ e *sidewalk* shows. Filthy busking etc. If you're there, you either walk on by, or stop to have a laugh. Late 70's Time's Square was probably worse. Because of the size difference it's a tough call.

It blows my mind that in NO you can buy a drink in a bar and then walk outside.

Yes, but you can only use paper cups, no glass bottles allowed. The only exception is that at many, many gas stations you can buy a single cold beer and they put it in a small brown paper bag. On any given day right after shift change at the plants you see men stopping to get a "cold drink" for the drive home.

There is lag in the audio due to technology and lag on the posts for the same reason.

Still, Its fun to see how folks respond to the show

Nagin's prediction of 10,000 dead: "The soft bigotry of low expectations."

But wasn't it funny there were a few kids drive buses
with folks to safety. So guess it could be done.
