**I wish he's have brought up Mary's aunt Phillis being on the Board of the Orleans school system**
I wasn't aware of that. More corruption for the Landrieu family.

"Although I do think he got a bum rap, it will all end up ok."
I'll say he got a bum rap. His only experience is presiding over FEM through 4 of the 6 most costly hurricanes and 162 other federal disasters.
Of course last year he got blasted for shooting money out of a cannon in Florida. Collins and Lieberman added a couple of dozen new regulations to FEMA to make them be more "accountable", and now that Brown requires people to sign a form of accountability, he gets creamed for being too bureaucratic.
lol, if this wasn't so funny I think I'd cry.

One police officer killed himself because when he went home to check on his family, they were all dead. Perhaps he was a good officer and blamed himself for trying to keep order for others, while his family was dying.
It seems to me that the families of the first responders should be evacuated ahead of time when you have some warning so the first responders do not have to choose between their jobs with the associated responsibilities and their families.

"Yes, and those buses were used to bus people to three precincts to elect her! </Pure speculative sarcasm!"
Democrats can bus people to the polls, but just can't manage to bus them out of harms way. </Pure speculative truism!

I have to separate reality from politics or I go crazy.
It just goes to show that in DC, a long memory is yesterday afternoon. Brown's a big boy. He can look himself in the eye, and he has been pretty clear that the President has been loyal.
The very special Dammed if you do, dammed if you don't approach to politics. And both parties are guilty.
But I agree...laugh, don't cry. In the long run it will be ok.

One thing that didn't come out on Christ Wallace is that FEMA had NO promblems, whatsoever, in Mississippi or in Florida during the four hurricanes last year.
Difference -- Miss. and Fl. have Republican governors who know how to work together with FEMA.
Dimocrate Blanko Blanco did not have the cooperative or corrobative skills. Wanted everything her way.

I caught that interview this morning.
That woman is a lunatic. I cannot recall seeing someone so completely shameless on that program ever as she was today.

Senators Mary Landrieu (D) and David Vitter (R) of Louisiana appeared on FOX News Sunday to discuss the situation down south. Mary Landrieu like usual dodged questions and committed blatant hypocrisy - thank God for tapes of Senator floor speeches. Landrieu says we should not point fingers, yet she blasts the Bush administration and the federal government. When questioned about the buses that are now under water [but could have been used to transport people out of town], Landrieu spins and ultimately refuses to answer the question.

More corruption there too.
I heard that Naggin' Nagin is in cahoots with the Lousiana Head of Homeland Security -- the person who would not let the Salvation Army and Red Cross and FEMA into New Orleans.
Corruption...............

>>Make sure you watch the interview with Landrieu. She gets so angry with Wallace that she's mad doggin' him at the end.<<
If you have it Tivo'd, watch the part where mentions Lousiana politicians and "pork." She is obviously miserable, and her mouth does a very obvious nervous twitch back and forth between a smile and a frown. There is also a link on an FR thread.
