Fox News showed it this morning just like it happened that 9/11 morning. The first plane going into the building and then the next one and the reporters from Fox News calling in and explaining what was happening. It was just as I remembered it.
My bumper sticker still reads, "REMEMBER 9-11, GET THE BASTARDS." And another one reads, "LET'S ROLL!" both with the American flag waving.
O, and I spent my day with my father-in law, hauling haybales for his wagon rides to be, and told him I love him.
Bless you. I too am rather sickened by the fact that the media is ignoring this day for the most part. You see, you must excuse them, there is another crisis going on and they would prefer to dwell on it. This crisis has allowed them to wrongly degrade President Bush, so they prefer it to 911, since that might remind people that President Bush was magnificent that day and the days that followed.

It had been rather unnerving the lack of attention that has been paid to the true events of the day. Your rant is well aimed.
I echo your sentiments. I became suspicious when I heard the networks were taking the footage off only two weeks after 9/11. Sadly my fears were realized, as the leftists in the media, fatboy Michael Moron and Democratic party tried to turn us all into little sheeple and believe Bush was the real enemy.
I'm shocked! I haven't seen one flippin' thing on TV today about 9/11. Not one! I read one little news blurb about how NY is remembering the day and that's it! My husband and I just went through the whole thread with the pictures and talked about how we haven't seen anything on tv. Screw tv, we have FR. We will never forget. Never. God bless you all.
I have never forgotten 9/11.

Nothing is unedited, but there are several films out there that can be purchased on DVD at Amazon.
In Memoriam, NYC, 9/11/01 with Rudi Giuliani narrating is one of the best. It shows the most film of those who elected to leap rather than burn to death in the WTC of anything I've seen.
9/11 Filmmakers Commemorative Edition is documentary filmed by French brothers doing a documentary about a young firefighter in NYC that suddenly and unexpectedly turned into a 9/11 documentary. It has the only known footage from inside the WTC after the attacks, and a brotherhood of firefighters reality story to boot.
DC 9/11: Time of Crisis is a Showtime movie for television starring Timothy Bottoms as President Bush covers the first 10 days. It has the view from the White House, interspersing real TV footage. Despite the caricature portrayals of the principal figures in this docudrama, this film and its eerily appropriate soundtrack remains compelling for occasional reviewing and remembering.
9/11: Day of Disaster is just footage made by a private individual, of firefighters working outside the WTC and searching the Pile afterwards. Mainly of interest to structural engineers and firefighters, I think.
7 Days in September (footage taken by amateur New Yorkers of people in NYC 9/11-18) gets annoying after a while as it shows too many liberal New Yorkers who don't get it.
See my post 55.
I reviewed some DVD's when I was deciding what to send the troops for 9/11.
And we just watched "The Flight that FOUGHT Back" on the Discovery Channel about Flight 93 on 9/11.
I also recommend it. It can be purchased on the Discovery Channel website.

Until the most recent days/hours I would've not put any stock into that theory. However, seeing and hearing the palpable disappointment in their voices over the numbers of dead recovered in Katrina's aftermath is truly alarming. They were giddy with the "10,000 dead" headlines. They, like the Dems, could smell GOP blood in the waters and began to frenzy.
I'm even more deeply concerned about the Media than I had been. And, who can ignore their attempts to show the bodies when they won't show the 9/11 footage! Anniversary coverage was dismal in the local fish wrap with the story (focused on Muslim's post-9/11 treatment!) falling below the fold on this 4th anniversary.
Thanks for those recommendations.
