General Pacepa, former deputy chief of Romanian foreign intelligence who defected to US in early 80s wrote the same thing decades ago in his book "Red Horizons". He described Arafat's trips to Bucharest and his sexual orgies with his body guards where he liked to play animal roles, where he was the tiger and the bodyguards were the pray. It's been said that any society where women are explicitly second class citizens, no matter how taboo homosexuality is in public, the society will have a rampant underground gay culture. I've read stories that homosexuality is well-known in Morocco, and we definitely know about the paedophila around Khandahar (sp?) in Afghanistan.

During the Persian Gulf War I was deployed to an air base in Oman. We worked side by side with Omani Air Force and the RAF. Some of the RAF officers had been seconded to the Omani Air Force. I remember one of them telling me the same thing but advising me to never mention it to one of the Omani officers.

So when Arafat recruited his young suicide bombers, his promise of 72 young virgins didn't exactly mean 72 female virgins? I don't think they rape homosexual young boys. I don't think that raping obviously homosexual boys would serve their purposes.
I think they deliberately rape normal young boys, who would have grown up to become normal heterosexual men.
However, the sodomized boys are ashamed afterwards, and don't feel they are ever going to have a chance at becoming a normal man with a woman after what has happened to them.
But then it is explained to them that if they die fighting for the cause (by detonating a suicide belt) Allah will make it all right for them, and they will have their 72 beautiful female virgins in heaven.
