Anderson Cooper stupifies Eddie Compass
CNN | 9-09-2005

Posted on 09/09/2005 8:35:58 PM PDT by Armedanddangerous

Did anyone just see the exchange between Anderson Cooper and Eddie Compass? He tried to pin the chief down on the evacuation issue and the chief about blew a circuit breaker.

Thought I heard Cooper ask the Chief about the evacuation plan (at the end of the interview) and the Chief saying that he couldn't say anything more because "legal" was looking into it.

Hilarious! The chief was all Mister In-Charge until it came time for specific answers about the failurs (and current policies) of NO city government. Then he couldn't pass the buck fast enough!

The city appears also to have lawyered up. Wonder what they're trying to hide ...

That's like one of the men in Houston today, said he had been waiting 9 months for his debit card from fema.

Are you serious? Another guy was bitching that $2,000 wasn't enough and he needs $10,000

I believe he said that so and so was handling it and he wasn't allowed to comment on that aspect. Which given his performance about the buses with Cooper...might be a good thing.

As per a phone call Rush got today, the LA gov, NO mayor, MSM or anyone was reporting the following.

The police captain committed suicide after going through the mess of it all, went home for a rest, and found his wife and young daughter had been raped, mutilated and murdered. There is a story to shock the nation. If it proves true, CCN will most likely never broadcast it, or ever so much as hint to how they suffered and died.

Compass police buddy who was said to have committed suicide, this needs to be looked into

The story I heard a few places today was that something awful happened to his wife and daughter in the mayhem and that is what caused him to kill himself.

This should be expected from the same people who allowed their "people" to stay in the path of a hurricane. One way, or another, they are leading "their" people to ruin.

This nation of islam reminds me of the vietnam protesters supported by the communists. I'll bet there are financial ties to Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Al Qaeda. What a great way to subvert America from within by getting the most protected group in America to unwittingly join.

It is critical for the Dems and Hillary's chances for the presidency that the American public not be left with the image of failed female leadership in a time of crisis. Pinning this on Bush wasn't working so it is time for the you know what to flow downstream. Notice how often the Democrat Party sells out the loyal African-American.

Needs a full re-post. Quite intuitive and astute! Regarding the Dims and the MSM, this is exactly what's going on, with the sub-agenda of hiding the abject failure of liberal policy in the real world. Hence the volume of distortion and Gorilla dust from day one. The final degradation and sellout of the blacks by the Leftists/Democrats is instructive (to those who would be paying attention).

I have never watched Anderson Cooper. Is he any good?

Here's the guy's bio. Read it and weep.

"...Examine why CNN's fabulous Anderson Cooper hasn't come out or been at least asked about his sexuality in the lengthy but guarded profiles written about him....it's just a questioning look at why Cooper's open-secret life hasn't gotten ink, a practice he obviously goes along with." --Michael Musto

I've wondered if the school bus drivers left town anyway before anyone had a chance to call them.

I don't think anyone expected the regular school bus drivers to assist in this emergency, but it's not rocket science to drive a bus -- they're all automatic transmission anymore. There should have been a plan in place to provide people to drive these busses in an emergency -- perhaps city employees of some type or another.

Anderson Cooper is an overemotional communist.

True communists really are quite unemotional. However, they do use the emotions of others (the useful idiots) to achieve their agenda. I would strongly suspect that any MSM media whore would be of the latter persuasion.

I bet any number of people would have volunteered to drive, if it meant getting the heck out of the city...

That 17 year old (?) kid managed to drive one all the way to HOuston...(I forgot his actual age)..picking up passengers a long the way...and BEAT the legit buses. LOL

and he is a gay man and a gay journalist.

More and more, I believe Savage is right. When newsfolk take it in the rear, the "news" comes out twisted.

They didn't need the school bus drivers. They weren't going to school. All they needed were the bus keys and some brains. For that matter police could have driven the busses which makes more sense than sending 40% of them home to areas expected to flood.

The night before the hurricane they were surrounded by water? I don't think so!!

This guy so doesn't impress me. Who does impress me is the Captain that is directly below him. Watched Dan Abrams interview him night-before-last. The wrong person is running that department.
