I understand your sentiment. Many here are not seeing what you are pointing out. Everytime the Democrats get away with creating a scandal, someone in the Republican party gets axed. Yet, for instance, in recent days, Howard Dean gets away with race baiting, Nancy Pelosi can humiliate a reporter; neither suffers any consequences of their misbehavior.

If true, the Dems finally drew blood and got a trophy head after 5 years of safari hunting.

FEMA needs to be shaken up from top to bottom nd that can't begin until Brown is gone.

Just a little bit ago a trucker hauling water for FEMS called Rush to say that FEMA is totally FUBAR.

She said they have been sent to several places to unloas only to be sent someplace else when they arrived.

She said that they are now sitting parked sitting parked at a military base aloing with several hundred other loaded trucks because they don't know where to go to deliver their loads.

Why? The idiot Brown is a political hack, a lawyer to boot, with no qualifications for the position and no record of success at anything. But if you feel there is a need for mediocracy in upper levels of government just because so many Americans are mediocre, than I understand.

"Sept. 9, 2005 — Federal Emergency Management Agency Director Michael Brown, under criticism due to his management of Hurricane Katrina as well as reported discrepancies on his resume, is expected to be out as head of the agency very soon, informed sources have told ABC News."

However, the Bush administration continued to support Brown today as President Bush did on his first visit to the scene of Hurricane Katrina.

Hey,

I'm in Georgia, and I am hearing from non-partisans that Fema is screwing up. Trucks sitting with no place to go and rescuers being jerked around from Alabama to Louisiana. If anyone takes a hit, let it be this guy. You are a recent member of this board. Are you a recent Republican?

Well the Repubbies abadoned the border recently by taking the BP off and sending them to do who knows what in the Katrina disaster area..(hand out flyers like the 1000 conscripted fire fighters?)

Our major worry ought to be the appointment of SCOTUS #2 hard corps constitutionalist or lib appeasment

FEMA does have what it needs legally to be the most powerful constitution usurping tool in the toolbox..... I think Brown was actually a pretty decent fellow..it's a shame crime to see him hung out to dry on a commie lie...

imo

Don't take it out on the Republicans or you'll play right into the hands of the Dems!! The President can't keep anyone from resigning who really wants to go. Mr. Brown is probably tired of the carping, and thinks that it will stop if he leaves. He's wrong; the Dems never cared about Mr. Brown's credentials or they would have said something last year during the four hurricanes in a row in FL.

No, this was, and always has been, about getting to President Bush.
