At least he will not be a lightning rod when Blanco and Nagin are (hopefully) prosecuted.
But I'm not holding my breath.

If this happens, I'm going to have lunch. Or even if it doesn't. That's my ultimatum and I'm sticking to it.

It was reported that Brown has not been FIRED- he will likely resign.

If he's not well-qualified for his job, and if he screwed up, then I say goodbye and good riddance.
To: navysealdad
Let's at least wait and see IF he falsified his resume/bio credentials.

Boy you are easy. I say if getting rid of Mike Brown is the best thing to do, get rid of him then.

His resume was very light to begin with here. When it was easily documented that he flat out lied on his resume, that was unrecoverable. There is no way he could stay in the job.
He lied about being on the board of directors of a nursing home. He lied about being a college professor. Minus Katrina, even if Katrina didn't happen, and somebody discovered all his lies on his resume, he would have had to step down. There is no reason to blame the President for this. The FBI apparently forgot how to do background checks though.

I don't blame him. After the Time hit piece he's being made a distraction by the press. Funny, they didn't look at his resume when he handled the 4 hurricanes in Florida last year.

I think he ought to be replaced with a military guy, especially if the nation now expects FEMA to be its first responder.

If this happens I'm finished will the Republicans!! Man, you are one fair weather Republican. Why would you say this if Michael Brown has decided he does not want to take the abuse he has been enduring anymore?

Hillary HATES him, you know....
What IS the story here? I saw this referenced on another thread last night, but couldn't find the source. Do you have a link, or could you explain?
Thanks...
