To bad this wasn't filmed for "Cops."
I hope they throw the book at this guy.

I read this and wonder why anybody would want to legalize those drugs and end the war on drugs.

One of the funniest things I've ever seen is a
Saturday Night Live spoof of
Cops in which Phil Hartman portrays Bill Clinton as a victim of domestic violence.
It's the usual scenario: police arrive to find one person bruised and bleeding and the other angry and uncooperative. The police try to convince Bill to press charges, but he says he just fell down and that it's nothing.
One of the sidesplittingest bits of TV I've seen in my life.

That's what I was thinking.

The dog ate Phillip's homework cocaine.

...why anybody would want to legalize those drugs...Are you talking about the drugs they were using on the dog? Those seem to be the only drugs involved here. They don't seem to be very effective. Maybe they should "legalize" stronger drugs and issue better firearms to the officers.

"I read this and wonder why anybody would want to legalize those drugs and end the war on drugs."
Possibly because if the stuff is legalized and the price falls to reasonable market levels, instead of the artificially high prices currently in effect, the users will either adapt, or kill themselves off. Either way, the rest of us win.
I would make it a capital offense to drive under the influence, though.

Sounds like more than just the dog needed shooting.
