This is going to be the undoing of the Bush's Fault mantra from the left. This is the smoking gun and needs to fleshed out. No question in my mind.

I will say it again, did the RATS intentionally make things worse in LA to use as a political weapon?

I was thinking the same thing but concluded that no one is that cold hearted....may be naive, ignorant, and foolish...but not that evil.....

DUmmieland must be on death watch after this news.....hour by hour it just keeps getting worse for the left....the TRUTH will do that to ya everytime...

>i>Bill Oreilly Program just stated that they cannot get any info on the LA National Guard time line as they have been placed on a "GAG ORDER"

That is rather scary. And should be HUGE news to all press people interested in finding out the truth.

Blanco will NEVER be able to silence all the guards tho, should it come down to that horrific woman and her clinton cable, in some back room, rewriting the timeline, to save their arses.

"Now Shep saying he didn't see ONE Red Cross truck makes more sense."

Yes. I'm stll trying to come to grips with Shep and Geraldo going off, seemingly uncocked. I suppose they were overloaded and needed some R&R.

Then why are his ratings so low right now?

Illegal immigration -- he isn't stopping it. At all.
Government spending -- he isn't slowing it. At all.
Reflected media bias -- that scary percentage of people who know only what the media feeds them and, when the pollsters come around, dutifully regurgitate it for them.

There's three reasons, off-the-cuff, why the numbers are what they are.

Not surprising. HOWEVER, people coming to the Superdome were told to BRING their own food and water. They didn't.

Now it looks like Blanco won't let the mayor remove people by force.

I am the lone voice in the wilderness for Nagin. I don't know him but have watched him. And he is good. But in Louisiana, when you cross the dem machine, you have to watch your back forever.

Jindal is careful not to antagonize people here.

And I have to face it, Louisiana is a socialist state and has been since the time of Huey Long, who incidentally fired my father once. For teaching a civics class about how bills were passed in the legislature and for pointing out Long was bypassing the constitution. He was fired the same day. The Long machine was powerful.

I trust your judgment about Blanco and Nagin. I have not been impressed with Nagin, but of the two, Blanco clearly seems to be the most culpable. IMHO, she has blood on her hands.

A Governor CAN'T issue a Gag Order.....can they?? Only a Judge in a lawsuit or criminal can....RIGHT?

Republic yeap, you know of course that the major general in charge of state homeland security is also the head of the LA. National Guard.

The state government is in the process of covering up the story.

I think it's just the opposite -- there's a lot more of the Pass left than Waveland. Waveland was essentially wiped out. Look at the helicopter videos on www.WLBT.com.

It's a lose/lose for the Dems. When the truth comes out, they'll be blamed... if they try to cover up the truth, it'll be obvious.

All they have is volume on their side.

You forgot that they also have the LeftStreamMedia.

At a press conference on Saturday morning, Aug. 27, I heard Blanco say that this was going to be a "positive experience" for the people of Louisiana.

Blanco is a ding bat who has been promoted way higher than she should have been.

Her hubby is Pres of USL and I note the head, Landreneau, is a grad of USL.

The interesting thing is the ongoing, everlasting tension between the south La cajuns and the North La people. Over control of the state.

I did not properly state the thought..... The fear of the Rat women is that a female failure will be catching.

The validity of the thought is yet to be determined but they are definitely scared.

Why then, if he is good, did Nagin blame the President on TV for what he knew was the fault of the Governor?

IMO, "good" people don't do things like that.
