CNN Headline news reporter just stated that the military will not force folks from their homes. "Refusing to force Americans from their homes", said the noticeably British reporter. Further, they will not let residents deteriorate in their own homes. The military will continue to get water and food to those remaining in New Orleans, effectively undermining Nagin's mandatory evacuation order.

According to Judge Whatshisname on Fox you're right. The mayor cannot legally force them out. Nagin wouldn't evacuate them before Katrina now he wants to force survivors out. Must have big plans for their property.
Nagin is up for reelection in Feb 2006 - I would love to see the voter rolls for that election!

I had heard her called the "ditch witch" but almost choked on your comment. I can't afford to do that sort of thing, as this is a laptop, and anything that gets through the keyboard is right on the cpu. I've gotta quit freeping while eating, though. It's not the monitor I need help with, though. I need a totally encapsulated notebook computer, water(and other fluids)proof. That is the ONLY thing that will survive my continuted use of FR at mealtimes.
