I just wish we had some good talk shows in the evening here in Austin. All we get are the financial planners and doctors in the evenings. I actually have time to listen after the kids go to bed and it would be nice to even get a repeat of a show from another station or something.

Exactly. Blacks are not dying in droves in MS and AL because, frankly, those are Republican controlled states who asked for help before the disaster hit. Louisiana is a democrat controlled state top to bottom. It's a MIRICLE that Vitter won outright for U.S. Senate as a Republican, and Bustante won in the runoff for U.S. House in a democrat district. That's the exception in LA not the rule. Bush took the state in '00 and '04, only because it's a southern state. But on the State level it's a little Democrat controlled test tube for over 60 years. The total lack of intelligence responding to this disaster compared to MS and AL proves that.
