Well not in THAT bird. That in itself is tragic to think of all the folks it could still be rescueing.
That's one thing i was thinking about when all these people complain about the feds not moving in soon enough, etc. It seemed like the Coasst guard was there right away, but for the NG to get there it wasn't just getting "boots on the ground", it was getting helicopters and boats and all the other specialized gear. For Hurricane Andrew the NG was on the ground on the fourth day. For Hurricane Katrina the NG was on the ground, in the air and in the water on the fourth day. God bless these "Weekend Warriors".

Just provide a minimum IQ needed to read your posts. Hopefully that will help.

That has to be the best Geraldo summation photo I've ever seen. That poor baby with the WTH look on his face trying to figure out why this crazy man has a hold of him.

.......you should be aware that there's not much more irritating to see, early in too many threads, that tired worn-out "It's Bush's Fault" post.I'm sure you are fully aware as to who is at fault for that.
To: Dog
I know; I felt guilty for laughing too, but after Geraldo sounded so "concerned" about the owner and the dog, it seemed rather ironic.
To: Recovering Ex-hippie
Geraldo is going hysterical about the copter!! He is analyzing the scene with his vast military experience.

I enjoy "It's Bush's fault" I laugh every time I see it. I guess I am silly.

I also like MSNBCBashing Bush now, talking about Feds response with NBC Baton Rouge reporter who's talking about Bush's comments that the effort was unacceptable. Mentions evacuation is local responsibility and school buses, but said drivers wanted to get out too on Sunday. Returning to Fox

He's been just dreadful during this hurricane coverage.
Of course, to be totally fair he's had a LOT of company in that, on all the networks.

Scarborough on MSNBC is saying that the story is "changing" with respect to the downed chopper.
He said he'll report an update when warranted.
