Well now that we have 1000's missing and dead I guess not to many people are interested in this story anymore.

Yep, as soon as the press departed for a bigger story the Aruban "authorities" let the ojs go.

I'm sure they'll be easily found if the "authorities" have any further questions etc.

This story would have no legs at all if the missing person was an ugly ol' white guy like me.

I knew there could be absolutely nothing left to report when Geraldo left the island.

Well, if you're extraordinarily ugly, that in itself might make the story interesting. Why not post a pic and we can vote?

Man, I put the "ug" in ugly. I'd post a pic, but I don't want to be billed for all the busted mirrors and therapy bills that inevitably result from such incidents.

Perhaps some politically connected person would suggest that congress discuss putting Aruba on the "No Fly List" for American tourists. I suspect that would inspire the cops to get to work.

Imagine a country where you actually need evidence of a crime before you execute the suspects.

We have never learned the truth about any statements from the three men, we heard only spin from various talking heads who were trying to trap the suspects with stories about finger pointing.

Unbelievable.

Hope they put detectives on their trails. (Might lead back to where the body was disposed of.)

It is amazing to me that so many Americans want those Aruban 'suspects' kept in jail, even though there is no body, no crime scene, and no reliable evidence of anything. If the police develop convincing evidence against them, yes, they should be arrested and prosecuted, but until that time, justice demands more than the Holloway-Twitty's hysterical charges. At times it seems like they want anybody at all to pay for their loss, no matter whether that 'anybody' is guilty or not. And for reasons I don't understand, the American media has thrown in completely with the Holloway-Twitty's in their reckless charges. It seems as if nobody remembers that conviction of a crime requires evidence. And that a person's liberty should not be taken away without conviction based on that evidence.

Well, like those black hurricane victims in New Orleans, maybe they ate Natalee.

I'm interested, but with nothing but Bush Bashing from the media it's hard to find anything to discuss.

The hearing and release were anticipated prior to Katrina.

Hurricane Katrina blew Natalee Holloway and Cindy Sheehan out of the front pages, probably (and hopefully) for good.

Joran will blab before long, when he gets drunk or drugged to the eyeballs. Let's hope someone hears him and tells the cops.

"(Might lead back to where the body was disposed of.)"

Apparently some people (such as yourself) still think Natalee was killed on that island. I doubt it and always have.

And if you are under the impression that ALE has the skill, the manpower, and an interest in solving this crime, then you have another think coming. They won't.

And since this thread seems to be mostly about the cessation of media coverage, it had to end sometime, unfortunately for NH's family. And if anyone thinks she might still be found, she won't be.

And I am not entirely surprised at "the authorities" simply letting them go, even though I thought there would be a short "trial" before everybody walked.
