Hello Fox and Friends,
Julian Phillips had absolutely no basis to make that idiotic statement and misrepresentation that supported the false premise that President George Bush does not care about black people. His ridiculous statement that “confirmed” that many people feel this way was absurd…and based on what? … two or three of his rich friends comments at an elite gathering of fellow elitists?
Where is any proof or reality that backs up these inflammatory statements? How irresponsible to even acknowledge that there may be any merit to that statement.
It’s bad enough when we have irresponsible and irrational and illogical “entertainers” making ill informed and outright false statements,and then “sponsored” by the mainstream media. But if Fox News continues to hire and staff people who continue to promote that level of blind hatred, yes, blind hatred of our President…then Fox News will officially be history with me and I will work continuously to recruit as many fellow viewers as humanly possible. I will begin this process via one of the most populated websites that contains tens, if not hundreds of thousands of Fox News viewers on a daily basis. My campaign will be non-stop. As you can tell, I am obviously and significantly upset.
Myself and many others have had it! with this type of blind hatred of our President and the process that has duly elected him twice as the leader of our nation. This is beyond criticism, this is outright blind hatred and the people of this nation are fed up with those who conduct this and those who condone it.
A response within a reasonable time will be appreciated. If not, my campaign begins.

You are right. They are history with me...now waiting to see what happens elsewhere on Fox, although that is obviously slouching towards Gomorrah too.
Rush is the man. He will get the truth out and...he has the facts and he speaks for us.

That is so true and I think Brit is the class of all reporters on any network. Kilmead and Tony Snow are the other two on Fox I like the most. But that leads me to a question: where has Brit Hume been the last few days? When stories are this big networks need to have their best front and center, and Brit is it. There has been no Tony Snow either although I know he has been on vacation and is still recovering from colon cancer.
Fox News has been very disappointing and it's gotten so bad that I am getting most of my news from the internet. We need to let Fox News know that those people who are mainly responsible for their high ratings, us, are not happy.

A third party would just make it worse. We'd have Presidents getting elected with only 35% of the popular support.
I'm not sure it's so much the parties as it is the electorate in any event. The electorate is so sharply divided that nothing gets done.
I hate to say it, though, but there is a simple solution to that problem. Simply divide the country up into two, one liberal country and one conservative country.
Federalism was originally intended to promote local decision making and eliminate friction between different factions of the electorate, but with the federal government supplanting so much of the state government's and even the local government's functions, federalism has been on the decline, and the result is an escalation of partisan infighting, as each party struggles to gain control of the federal government for the benefit of their own constituencies.

I too am fed up! I quit watching all tv news including Fox a long time ago. They have become just as bad as the rest.

What can we do? I've been emailing for two days now. Our point of view will not be heard over the airwaves. After listening to all the blame being cast on the President yesterday and being emotionally drained from the sights and reading tons of hurricane threads, the last thing I needed to see when I left work yesterday was a bunch of anti war activists gathering with their hurricane/get out of Iraq signs in front of the Times Square recruiting station. By that point I totally lost it, gave them the finger, called them a$$holes and continued on to Penn Station. Felt like a total crazy woman after that. The unjustified Bush hatred is out of control.
There is a very liberal country to our north. Send the libs to Canada. Maybe if we threaten to draft them for the military, they'll just voluntarily leave. (just being silly, but wouldn't it be nice?)
