Today President Bush toured the Gulf Coast states of Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana and and did his best to comfort the victims of the most destructive natural disaster in the history of the United States
The President was on the verge of tears during his talk at the Mobile airport today. He was thanking the Coasties for their remarkable work saving so many in New Orleans. This has affected him deeply. You know he hates to see people suffering in this way.
Shepard Smith!
W and Riley have a history of sorts. W came to Alabama and campaigned heavily for Riley. Riley talked very conservatively but when he got in office he tried to enforce the largest tax increase in the history of Alabama. Riley can come across as a poser of sorts. Uses things to his advantage. I don't think Bush ever got over being used that way and the state Republican party still has a bad taste for Riley. That being said Riley has surrounded himself with good people and has tried to amend his greivous error of tax hikes. :) Of course when 75% of Alabamians voted against it what else could he do?:)
I join you in that prayer. I agree, there is some powerful stuff going on and we need to beg for God's help.
my reference was the Normandy visit where his advance team placed rocks on the beach for him to "discover" and make a cross with them. So Hollywood!
Mike, this is astonishing! From the article you linked::
"early reports from CNN and Fox indicated that the city had no plan for evacuating all of the prisoners in the city's jails--so they just let many of them loose."
George W Bish will never get my vote", then whips her glasses off and continues, "Look at me, Look at me GOOD!"
I saw that also and ticked me off enough for another rant
so appriciate your words. Their hate for the Prez is based
on left wing propagnada. They are useful idiots.
Love W!
Your tagline is great!
what's useful about them???
I don't like that hairdo on Condi. It really drags her face down. I like it better shorter up by her ears.
Exactly what I was thinking! Shep and Geraldo have jumped the shark.
How could they charge him when he was told by an officer it would be a "good" idea to figure out how to start it and leave? He should receive a commendation.
if you continue on down they show photos. I saw that on the news on Wed. and thought then they were going to be having a hard time getting that genie back in the bottle.
I'd like to think the president knocked some sense into him--literally. :)
I thought Gov Blanco was going to break down while the President spoke after their fly over New Orleans. Seems like she does not have the fortitude to perform the job of Gov.
I would not blame W if he walked up to Cheney and said " Here's the keys, I'm going back to Texas." Please God, continue to give him strength.
George Will once said, "No farce in American life is complete without the appearance of Jesse Jackson." I am beginning to think this could include Geraldo, but I don't mean this disaster is one, but it is a tragedy.
