Tropical Storm 12
I saw it, you said it never happened. I know what you said was false, and spelled out in more detail that I had indeed seen those reports. Once again, you say it never happened. So in effect you've called me a liar. One of us is lying. I'm not. If you want to get all huffy and self-righteous, that's your choice.
The people are still there. THey haven't been evacuated. Those people on the bridge have been there for days. There are just "hundreds" of them. They are being ignored.
The cop and the man on the scene was talking to Geraldo about no food or water. Maybe they got it maybe they didn't. The folks on the bridge, to my knowledge, didn't.
Shep isn't lying. You aren't there. You don't know that all that stuff even got to the people. Some people did get food and water. But they are all still there and the situation is dire. We need to get them out.
I say send them to the closed military bases. Don't rebuild N.O. It is foolhardy. Get them food, clothing, shelter, and help them to get on their feet again.
Bellyaching about Shep is helping nothing. NOTHING.
I'm thinking of when they go to open the books for all the funds earmarked for this tragedy.
Does anybody know if there are plans online pre-Katrina?
Would be interesting to compare the plans/reinforecemts to what is in fact reality.
Laura Ingle, the girl who reported every day on the Michael Jackson trial?
Don't try to absorb it - filter it.
Well, given this and his dithering about the hotels leading up to the evacuation order, we can make a fair guess as to who was lining his pockets for the last few years.
"WWL just had Je$$e Jack$son on calling New Orleans "the hull of a slave ship"."
Jesse Jackson just went into that "slave ship" yesterday, and didn't do a @#*% thing. So I guess he's too big to help the slaves. Leave that to the rest of us proles.
I disagree. Strongly.
Greta didn't said Laura INGALS...I think
get real, I am disappointed in him, I expect so much more. I'm hoping tomorrow things start moving because he saw it first hand.
race baiting?
Never me - back that one up, dear or take it back
Yes. I think so.
Yep... she covered the Peterson trial and has been on KFI for as long as I can remember,
I heard from a friend in Michigan, not yet confirmed, that they may be putting them up in Red Cross & Salvation Army shelters.
I live in San Jose, and my husband and I were both saying the same thing today.
This also shows just how prepared that each individuals need to be.
I thought that we didn't need a gun because we don't hunt, and I think I'm wrong.
I'm also thinking that it would be a good idea for our neighborhood assocation to have a satellite phone.
I've been primitive camping since overnight Monday and just got back to civilization. This is one weird story.
Laura Ingle? A Conservative Talk show host? Never heard of her.
I believe Shep and the other reporter at that location are platooning back and forth to Baton Rouge each shift, if I'm not mistaken. That's been one of his complaints, actually... that other officials' cars are passing by without helping these stranded people in both directions.
That black area isn't a lock on Dems any more.
I'm from the area - Kerry actually did a stump in East Cleveland.
Media reported more and more young blacks taking another look at the Republican party.
It was a great time for me to be unemployed.
Man I miss that election season ; )
I think the remarks were about the upcoming vote. IIRC, he thought there was no way it would take place. Other than that he passed, LOL!
