Dennis Prager has just suggested that folks open up their homes to Katrina victims. Invite them to stay there for a month. The Astromdome is not the place to house people. The state is not the proper entity to take care of these victims. The citizens should do it. Dennis himself is going to open up his home to a family.
Dennis is a great person.
Why does the female Christian woman have to be white?
Can't be done. This isn't the 50's. Too many sociopaths out there.
People absolutely should take in their New Orleans-based relatives and friends. But strangers? No way.
She is going to have to choose her beneficiary. God won't do it for her. And if she relies mostly on skin color she's in trouble.
Or are you opening your door to a young mother who is a crackhead who will ransack your place as soon as your back is turned, and then let in her criminal boyfriend

He's not talking about taking them in. He's talking about taking their victims in.

And that is a big problem if he means any victim w/o regard to the cultural background of the victim.
Dennis seems reasonable. I don't think he would take an anyone without careful consideration nor would he expect others to do so either.

I know Dennis Prager. I listened to him for years on the radio and know exactly where he's coming from and his agenda. He means to take anyone in w/o consideration to race.
I don't think Dennis would consider race either. I do think he would try to determine whether or not the person was decent or indecent though.
I heartily disagree about the choosing comment. When a believer commits a decision to God and asks His guidance, they two become partners. He is on the throne and advising His children now, as ever.

That is exactly what he would like the good-hearted people of America to do. And that is bad. One should consider race as the prime factor in deciding whether to let in their homes any of these people.
I also want to point out in this era, it also opens you personally to litigation. Just because you do something nice for someone doesn't mean they won't turn around and sue you.
There was a time in America when this would have automatically happened.
If people were in need all "AMERICANS" would pitch in to help them. Barn raising, food, clothes, etc. That was the Christian way.
It generally happened through the local church, the basis of the community. Now we can't even mention G@D in school.
It was a community that believed in Democracy.
Thanks to the Liberals race baiting for votes and the idea of “MultiCulturalism” we no longer have that America. We have multi cultures vieing for their “piece of the pie” like they deserve something for nothing because of their race. Because of what the white culture did to them.

Bless Dennis's heart but judging from what I've seen on TV I'd have to say, no way. If some kind hearted person gets their throat slit or robbed, or raped that would be a terrible tragedy.
