The situation in NO is disgusting. The politicians didn't do anything to get people out of the city soon enough. They were worried about getting sued or losing votes from another possible near miss. Now they don't want to stop the looting, no, the pillaging of New Orleans. Why even bother fixing the levees? These are the residents of this city. With this behaviour, the city needs to be buried, not rebuilt. The whole place is turning into Mogadishu and the elected officials are doing everything they can let it happen.
