Howdy Hi Jinx!
I think I decided on my sign for the rally..
It's from the DC Freepers..
"Blessed be the peacemakers: Army Navy Airforce Marines."
Ms.B
We left the rally around 3:00 (we got there at 9:00 a.m.). The only FReepers I met were laurenmarlowe, mylife, leapfrog, jrewing and FFforFreedom.
It was a magnificent day, indeed. Just by chance I was able to help direct the caravan into the parking lot. That was exciting.
Congrat to your son, DIL and you on the baby. I will say prayers for all their well being.
Thank you, me too.
Boy, was I wrong.
That aircraft is assigned to the 62nd Airlift Wing at McChord AFB in Washington.
Thanks Ma. Texas Army & Air National Guard have activated several hundred troops. Choppers, reverse osmosis water purification units and tents are the hot items. Also heavy trucks to get thru the high water.
Good sign!
Whoa...it time to go!
See everyone later...
A river runs through it: The swollen Danube, a muddy brown instead of the blue of waltz fame, floods the Weltenburg Monastery in Kelheim, Germany. The ground floor of the monastery, believed to be Bavaria's oldest, was submerged.
Hi You! How are you?
Amid the destruction in Pass Christian, Miss., a rooftop message lets relatives know that that Steve W. is safe.

1999
The year of Columbine, and Clinton's splendid little war in Kosovo. (Funny how Kofi had no problem with force when Bubba was in charge.)
And 1999 also brought us the following tunes:
I am doing OK. Staying in the AC this PM and trying to keep up with the Katrina news. I am on recovery standby this weekend for any NG units heading to Houston of NOLA.
That place must be one hell hole by now. I cannot believe the crime in that area, especially after a disaster like the hurricane.
Howdy Ms.B! Sorry I missed you last night, I nodded off really quickly last night.
Sounds like you had a nice lunch with Mrs. Pooh!

Hi Lauren. How are you?? I have missed FR at work the past few months.
I am just able to post from home since the we got the new IT boys. They think we should not be able to get news at work, but the BIG BOSS said we can, just no replies to forums like FR.
I know what you mean. I am so disgusted by some of the news I'm hearing about the turmoil. And, how stupid can people be shooting at your rescue teams?
Thank you for all you do. I know I don't know half of it, but I appreciate knowing you are out there.
radu...((HUGS)) Has Katrina passed by you yet? Any damage?
