Well, yes.
Went outside for a few.
*sorry*
I've managed to keep a plant alive through three moves, Houdini is the next logical step in my "research project". I am trying to determine the limits of my ability to care for ever more complex living creatures. I skipped the "fish-stage" and went straight to the "amphibian-stage". My roommate had the "single-celled organism-stage" sewn up in the refrigerator so I didn't bother with that, either. I'm not quite ready for reptiles or mammals yet . . . If Houdini survives until April, I will consider climbing the food chain at my next duty station.
Hiya Sweetie!
Ms.B
Wonder how far they flew.
I saw your "Emeril says Bam" story last night. Did you get to taste any of the food?
OH Very pretty!
You are so right about cities sitting up and paying attention to their own abilities to handle a huge disaster. Hopefully they will make plans.
Well... yes.
;-)
Perfectly safe for me.
Laurita.....#500!!
I'm looking at the photo essays of the hurricane on the foxnews.com page. I can't bring myself to look at the video, yet. The stills are hard enough to look at. Until comms are up and I can find out how my friends are, I don't want to see the whole picture.
The Globemaster IIIs look like they're from the North Carolina ANG...
I love that photo!! Were you at the candlelight vigil on Sat.night, and did I get to meet you? What an incredible weekend, we supported our troops!!! I got to speak to my Marine son Jensen at 5 this morning, calling from outside of Haditha,Iraq. This was just the second time in over a month, I live for those phone calls.I told him he would have been proud of us in Crawford!! He and his wife Tisha are expecting their first baby this month,21st of Sept. It's a little boy, they're naming him "Aidan Jensen Perry" I hope to be there for his arrival,Jens is still in Iraq. If anyone would like to send them "baby stuff", or just letters and cards, I would really appreciate it.I'm so proud of my Marine, and I know Tisha is a bit lonely and scared, and they're young, 20 and 21. Keep them in your prayers, blessings to all
And where they landed. Hopefully they stayed in the water. River cleanup and Lake P cleanup are going to take time. So many "things" must now be in the water and hazards to navigation.
Those guys are a little over-excited, wouldn't you say? If they had their tongues sticking out a little more they would look exactly like my ex-husband.
I hear you there. Sending prayers for your friends.
Man, that is one tough plant! Turtles are long-lived I think...? I don't know what's next up the food chain... rodents?
I have a darling, devoted cat whose been with me at 3 residences so far.. Her 14th birthday is coming up this month.
I think I see an NC on the tails. What might the green and yellow logos be?
No breakfast yet. Making coffee! :D
Yes I was one of the ones that got to eat after the judging was done.
