I think what the gas companies are doing is way over the top. There is NO explanation for gas going from 2.65 to 3.35 overnight, none. Except price gouging

Call it whatever you like. If the price is too high, people won't buy it. Shop at the "nice" gas station that only charges $2.75. And when their tanks run dry, and you refuse to pay the gougers, you can walk.

But hope and pray that a few gougers remain with ridiculously expensive gas left to buy, when the ambulance comes to rescue you.

They explained in on our OKC radio station. Because of the current price to refill their tanks, the stations have been notified they will be paying much more so the price to the consumer is rising. Supplies are diminishing, and that is why they are stopping production of reformulated gasoline for now as it takes longer to get that out to consumers.

If you live in a State with a small supply of gasoline on hand, the prices will rise substantially as their supplier raises the price to the station to refill the tanks and the supplier is paying more to get gasoline from the refineries as there is not enough to go around right now.

Heard that prices will fall once the refineries are in full production. We need NEW refineries and NEW oil drilling in places that have been put off limits. Blame EPA and the environmentalist wackos if you want to blame anyone. Without the EPA and the attorneys, we would have new refineries on line IMHO.
