Astonishing Exclusive From Mississippi [hundreds if not thousands dead]
Paramedic Rescue Operation | 8-31-05 | My Favorite Headache

Posted on 08/30/2005 10:10:45 PM PDT by My Favorite Headache

It is with heavy heart I write this...

I have finally reconnected with my best friend who is a paramedic who was sent from Georgia 2 days ago to Gulf Port, Mississippi before the hurricane hit.

He just reached me within the last 10 mins via emergency cell phone to tell me he was alive.

Thousands of bodies have been discovered throughout Mississippi in Gulf Port, Waveland,Hancock County,Bay of St.Louis.

They are hanging in trees and they are pulling them out 30 at a time. Entire families found drowned in their homes and washing up on shore.

The stories he could tell me were brief. National Guard is on the scene and arresting anyone seen on the streets.

The numbers are staggering and what I have been told tonight will shake people to their foundation as the numbers will be coming out in the next 24-hours of just how many people have actually perished in these and 3 other beach communities.

More to follow....

I agree. I learned in Asia to always keep my backpack with me with essentials. I still do--even in church.

Thank you for your report, tragic as it is.

This evening, all the scrolls on the cablenews channels are saying "Thousands may be dead."

In Gulfport, they showed emergency workers spraying big red X's on the homes where bodies have been found. They are waiting for refrigerated trucks to make their way thru the chaos before picking up bodies.

It is reported that mortuaries all along the Gulf Coast are swamped with bodies.

No, your friend is not exaggerating.

Sadly, not nonsense AT ALL.

I see it happen all the time.

Too often your 2nd point is too true, too.

Some 9-11 stuff did get a little nasty. We used to have a lot of wonderful old time freepers-Clinton's A Liar and Clarity--who left because of bickering and fighting and questioned loyalties. It's sad when that happens, but with large groups and egos and all it does happen. After it's all said and done years later, I guess one just wonders what all the emotion and fighting was about, after all. V's wife.

God declares that

HE WILL KEEP THOSE IN PERFECT PEACE WHO FIX THEIR MINDS ON HIM.

Doing better at that. Room to grow, still.

Thx.

I rest my case.

I had no problem with it being posted but I also had no problem with it being questioned.

It's not just this thread, it's all of them.

Gee Mike, I'm sorry. I really thought you knew what I meant.

It's the domino principle. Things in one place affect another. There's a rush on gas in Atlanta because, right or wrong, they don't think they'll get more for awhile.

You never know if the same kind of rush might happen for anything...batteries, water, food...literally anything.

I can't tell you the number of times we've had to dip into our bugout bag during a hurricane even though we didn't go anywhere.

The "leaders" of NO have had 40 years of bickering about whether or not to protect NO against the possibility of a Cat 5 hurricane (to increase the present cat 3 levy protection to cat 5) - and failed to bite the bullet to protect the city. So the residents, and the entire nation, caught the bullet.

Our national leadership is following the same course with respect to "terrorism". Unless they take effective action, then individually, many of us are going to be facing a life ending circumstance due to their negligence and maleficence. We cannot tolerate officeholders negligence at any level. Fire the GD incompetents, liars, and trombone blowing creeps who will lead you to destruction. Discover the geeks who attend to your business, are concerned with achieving success for you, and will ultimately protect you. Even if they aren't cool - yes that even means you, Barbara Streisand, you stupid cow.

Well put, imho.

If I trusted my friend, I'd share it widely and feel I'd be negligent if I didn't.

Each person is responsible for prayerfully pondering all input and seeking God's confirmation on what's true as well as therefore, what.

"I signed up today simply to say that the name calling and petty arguments this thread has degenerated into are appalling and embarassing."

I think you've been watching too much Barney.

" Anyone who views this tragedy as a reason to attack others and "score points" saddens me beyond words."

This tragidy didn't trigger any of this. We're doing this to yank your chain.

And with regard to China.

It's arrogance--that WE are secure BECAUSE WE are so smart; so advanced; so rich; etc. etc. etc. adtrulynauseum.

how many of those that were flooded have people inside that didn't survive?

From the pictures, it doesn't look like many did.

The stories that we hear about losses and survival are heartbreaking. And it going to get worse.

But take out our communications, transportation, and legal infrastructures, and electric and petroleum power, we are much less capable of surviving than our recent ancestors. Most would be like helpless babies in the wilderness. Our security a total dream.

Well put.

Glad I grew up on a farm and in the woods.

Though, I will likely die in a huge city in asia--or be Raptured therefrom. . . God willing and allows me to return to work for Him there.
