Astonishing Exclusive From Mississippi [hundreds if not thousands dead]
Paramedic Rescue Operation | 8-31-05 | My Favorite Headache

Posted on 08/30/2005 10:10:45 PM PDT by My Favorite Headache

It is with heavy heart I write this...

I have finally reconnected with my best friend who is a paramedic who was sent from Georgia 2 days ago to Gulf Port, Mississippi before the hurricane hit.

He just reached me within the last 10 mins via emergency cell phone to tell me he was alive.

Thousands of bodies have been discovered throughout Mississippi in Gulf Port, Waveland,Hancock County,Bay of St.Louis.

They are hanging in trees and they are pulling them out 30 at a time. Entire families found drowned in their homes and washing up on shore.

The stories he could tell me were brief. National Guard is on the scene and arresting anyone seen on the streets.

The numbers are staggering and what I have been told tonight will shake people to their foundation as the numbers will be coming out in the next 24-hours of just how many people have actually perished in these and 3 other beach communities.

More to follow....

Well I personally would rather combine my sources of information. You are questioning the integrity of My Favorite Headache, which has never proving to make false reports in the past. Where did you hear helicopters/planes have a limit of 50 miles??? Last time I checked, helicopters could go about 300 - 400nm... Just as a refresher, I went and looked:
http://www.bellhelicopter.textron.com/en/aircraft/commercial/prodSpecs206B-3.cfm
That is the Bell 206B-3, one of the MOST POPULAR helicopters for news organizations. Lets cut that 300 miles in half, because of the return trip. That means 150 nm (172 statute miles) from the Bay of St. Louis would place Lafayette (LA), Baton Rouge (LA), Jackson (MS), Mobile (AL), and Pensacola (FL) all WELL within range of a safe trip to the location, and back, WITH fuel for time to film. Baton Rouge would be the BEST location, due to how close it is. (150 miles from Baton Rouge to the AL-MS state line... PLENTY of fuel to cover that area.) They obviously MUST be withholding information for SOME reason. I just cannot believe NO ONE in the news room has thought "ya know... maybe we should get some aerials of the Mississippi/Alabama coastline...."

Here is the map.... click on it to make it larger:

I'm trying to remember. It was prior to Camille...

That particlular bridge is the bridge that connects Ocean Springs to Biloxi and it's the Ocean Springs end. It was built somewhere around 1961. I remember watching them use mules to grade the road up to the bridge.

I lived there in the late 50's to early 60's so much of the area is unrecognizable.

Sorry I can't help more but they say the second thing to go bad is your memory and I don't remember the first...

" I know what I saw on TV. That cop didn't talk about thousands of bodies."

Lets exaggerate to the point of an outright lie now. You know damn well this post refers to a coastal area ~125 mi wide. See post #1624.

Hi, GWB. I'm missed seeing your posts. How've you been?

Fine. Still agitating the anthills, as is my habit.

The despair in Haley Barbour's voice was haunting.

Well, there are the federal handouts he'll be lobbying for so generating public sympathy is in his own interest. Also, there's a question of whether local officials did enough to force evacuation, whether their warnings were strong enough, whether they prepared adequately, etc. So Barbour's despair might be over his own political future as much as anything else. He is a politician after all and has always been ambitious. Of course, pointing this out will win me many new friends. I have such a knack for it as you well know.

The rain falls on the just and the unjust.

I addressed this topic at my blogsite last night. Here's an excerpt:

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. (Romans 8:18-23 listen)

God sometimes chooses to heal us and protect us from suffering, but other times he chooses to let us suffer. It sounds like a horrible thing, but God tells us that he has plans that we can't even understand. The book of Job chronicles the immense sufferings of a good and righteous man. He lost his family, except for his wife, his friends and servants, and his health. Yet through it all, he never cursed God. God was silent to Job's pleadings and questions, but finally spoke to him and told Job that his plans for Job's life were higher than Job's plans for his own life.

thank you so much for posting this thread.

It's obvious that FR has become so big that our percentage of idiots has become big, as well. Just ignore all of these bozos. There's a bunch of us who appreciate receiving what we can from ground-zero, since no one can get there and the MSM is missing A LOT.

Why thank you!
Hugh Hewitt is an idiot. Now, as for your defense of him, worshipping ignorance is not the worst option for the ignorant and uninformed.

You could have been Quix's assistant, LOL!

UPDATE***

Just got off the phone with my friend. He called me from a different number apparently something happened with his other cell phone.

They are now packing their ambulance and heading back to Georgia as they have been there 4 days with next to no sleep.

He said they were tagging bodies in the water that were laying face down...by the hundreds in the water alone. Then they were doing one stripe-two stripe spray paint marks on homes. To code whether there were bodies inside or not inside.

He said water came in as high as 8 feet 2 miles inland at a high school that was being used as a shelter and in the gym people were climbing bleachers trying to get to the roof. A middle school in Gulf Port had their roof blown right off during the first 2 hrs of the storm and over 150 were injured but thankfully not killed there.

He again...said thousands are dead...DID NOT RETRACT...I asked AGAIN...would you say 1,000? 2,000? He said...thousands..plural. The bodies are being picked up and transferred boat to boat to be brought back to shore.

He simply could not believe the destruction and chaos of the area and they decided to call it quits and drive back to their home base in Ga.

This will be the final update from this area from me regarding this source.

I did ask if he thought the media might do a cover up on this and he said he didn't know but that it would be very hard to hide these facts since so many people are present in the operations.

It appears the National Guard is moving in more and more to help.

Time and place is an important and worthy issue to consider and I do.

As a shrink and sociologist, I also know from extensive experience as well as training

So, Caiaphas, you have credentials too.

Fortunately there is only One I need to stand in awe of, and you're not Him

My only point was that Hewitt is seeing what some of the rest of us have observed and correctly states that it is inappropriate for a reputable forum that wishes to be taken seriously.

Hardly an overreaction. That would be many of the posts that are allowed.

Sorry, I was being sarcastic to make my point. But you did an outstanding Freeper job here of unearthing the relevant facts.

Obviously, there are plenty of locations from which aircraft can survey the area.

FRegards!
