If they just send me a new Persian rug, we'll call everything even.

There are two chances other countries (with the exception of England, Japan and Canada) will send assistance, slim and none.

In lieu of monetary help from all the nations we have aided through the years, certainly they would understand if we did not send any money to the UN or to other countries as foreign aid until we have taken care of our own people and rebuilt the LA and MS.

Please take a moment to be grateful that our enemy can take a moment to express a bit of humanity.

We don't need their money. I'm satisfied with their sympathies.

It's the dancing (AK-47 Monkey Jumping) in the streets that really chaps my hide. I wonder what the palesites did.

Mexico is sending thousands of folks every day, the final destination is a little confused.

I doubt there is anything the rescue effort needs that the US hasn't already got in enough supply. Also of course the resources the US has can be moved in much faster.

I would support shipping you guys some gasoline, but I wonder how useful it would be by the time it got there.

As for me, I just can't wait for the UN to show up and form a committee.

I'm surprised this hasn't been already announced from New York City.

Then they can take over rescue/recovery ops from US authorities. I'm sure that'll be helpful.

"Or what?" Yep, that is pretty much what we can expect.

Do you want it? Really?

You want a plane load of rice from the People's Republic of China? You want Kofi Anan touring the devastation in the disaster area? You want the French military using its helicopters to fly out survivors? You want Germany to take out its wallet and write a big fat Euro check?

I wonder if you really do.
