I'm a woman, too and like you, I think I'd be running circles around her. She should have her ass kicked for being so inept.
Thank you. While I agree the governor is a boob, the fact of the matter is the Mayor of NO is male.
One of the WWL anchors said that sometimes she really coudln't believe some of the things she was having to report.
That is about in line with what the market did yesterday. It's up another 20 cents so far today.
Why rethink Texas???
Because of hurricanes? There is a hugh state that doesn't get affected by hurricanes, except some much needed rain, usually.
And, we are really nice people...once you get to know us!!!
This is a great object lesson in electing women to high office. Very, very few have what it takes to get through horrors like we are seeing
Hillary 08
I completely understand. DHS called for volunteers to deploy this morning, and I'm unable to go in the first wave because I'm scheduled for a prepaid Alaskan cruise with my family leaving next week. There should be a second call for volunteers after I return, and if there is, I'm going.
I don't think they'll let me bring my gun, though.
Ahh, another PLAN. Did you know John Kerry had a plan?
Police officer says Petal 'destroyed'
By Hattiesburg American
HATTIESBURG Like the rest of south Mississippi, the Oak Grove area suffered all kinds of damage from Hurricane Katrina.
One of the first stores to re-open in Petal was the Ace Hardware store. By 7 a.m., with puddles of water still standing on the showroom floor, the doors were open and employee Rob Walker was tallying up his first sale of the day tarps and roofing cement for his father, Floyd Walker of Petal.
Larry Isaiah of Orange Grove, just north of Gulfport, stayed with a friend in Oak Grove Monday night. He walked by himself along a side street near Old Highway 11.
"I didn't think it would be this bad," he said.
The storm "destroyed" the town, said Petal Police Sgt. Brent Barfield. There were no reported deaths and only minor injuries. But there were more damaged homes and buildings than anyone could count, and the road crews that worked through the night had only managed to clear the main roads through town. "I've never seen anything like it in my life," he said.

Military spokesman says helicopters from USS Bataan are currently in use. Ships also to be used for command/control, storing supplies, may used as housing as last resort
The people following the governor seem to have a plan.
As you can see from the link, they are already addressing needs in the area.
They have been doing disaster relief internationally for many years and have their act together. As you can see, they will be working with local churches to get relief to the people. Recommend you add to the list, as they are very efficient getting help to where most needed.
thanks.
Perfect example. Hillary, instead of being a whiner like Blanco, would just stand and scream and swear at people, then throw things.
Good point. Must stock up on ammo...
Governor basically just threw up her hands and tossed it over to FEMA and the Army. I don't blame her...
Specifically, Marine Air Support.
So, you want to snipe at cops? Here, have a 20mm greeting card or fifty.

Anybody can be an inept moron, not just women. I highly resent your statement.
LOL. Hillary may have been one of the looters.
You are welcome to. I'm a woman too, and not all women are created equal. This one is a disaster.
LA NG spokesman says reports say the water levels around the Superdome may be dropping
Missions are underway in St. Bernard, St. Tammany, and Jefferson Parishes along with the NO operations
