"Chavez told OAS delegates that Venezuela would consider bringing the issue to United Nations if the U.S. government failed to cooperate." I certainly hope Chavez takes it to the UN.

This is really getting out of hand.
And JJ getting involved is no surprise.

Pat Robertson doesn't demand to be called "Reverend".

"We could offer him free psychiatric treatment ... but he could be a lost case" Chavez said sarcastically of Robertson... The mouth just goes on and on... Much like Castro.

This is just getting ridiculous, especially the cheap shot on the Iraq war at the end. Chavez, go kill your people. Robertson. shut up and go away. Jesse Jackson, go back to Chicago and run the Rainbow Coalition, and keep quiet. You are NOT a diplomat!
To: since1868
What I want to know is how much money Chavez is giving to Jackson for this. Jackson NEVER does anything for free.

They need him to pray that the next big hurricane in the Atlantic will miss Venezuela's major oil exporting port.

Chavez is just another communist, loud-mouthed piece of scum who is destabilizing Latin America. If my government doesn't have a contingency plan which targets this dictator-scum, then I want a refund of my tax dollars.

Somebody needs to tell Chavez, "Yo, a**hole, we have freedom of speech in our country. You don't like that? Tough s**t!"

1). For the good of Venezuela and relations, Chavez does need to achieve room temperature.
2). Nevertheless, Robertson was a complete idiot for saying what he said and needs to shut up.
3). Jesse - just STFU already. He never met a thug he didn't love.

I'm tempted to let them have him!
hehe
I can't stand the man actually, and I hate how the MSM tries to make him and Fallwell out to be the leaders of the conservative movement.
To: wagglebee
With Bareback Jack, you gots to follow da money.
Jesse Jackson is just sticking his nose where he thinks there might be a pay off!
Chavez is being egged onto turning this incident into a "international" one.
Robertson is an idiot.

---"Earlier Sunday, Rev. Jesse Jackson offered support for Chavez, saying the televangelist's call for the Venezuelan leader's assassination was a criminal act.
The U.S. civil rights leader, who is on a four-day visit to Venezuela, called Robertson's statements "immoral" and "illegal." He urged U.S. authorities to take action, and said the U.S. government must choose "diplomacy over any threats of sabotage or isolation or assassination."
"Calling for the assassination of a head of state is a terrorist act," said Chavez, an outspoken critic of President Bush who has forged strong relations with communist-led Cuba."---
Okay Jesse, let's be even handed and go after everyone who calls for the assassination of a head of state.
Oh, and that list could get many liberals jailed:
http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=43779
Of all the people in this world who should not be calling for criminal action against a private citizen for "dangerous" remarks, Jesse Jackson is at the top of the list.
