If they want to resurrect Vietnam, that's just what they would do.
Withdraw whilst pledging support that would be withdrawn
with the next administration. Vietnam Dejavu.
Might work. We could be home for a really late bedtime, and sleep in on the Monday.
Keep us posted.
:) Thank you.
I remember the day that Vietnam war protestors decided to shut the bridges into DC and keep people from going to work. The cops arrested 30,000 people and took them to Kennedy stadium where they booked them. The protestors complained about the conditions, saying that there were not enough bathrooms. Is that because they are all full of it?
Thank you, Tax-Chick! :)
lol. I could see smoke emanating from your post. Darts flying.
On the other hand they can get the Rev. Al Sharpton's drive to drive for them and add a few more stops as he's adept at speeding.....
Good luck with the baby!
More like a 'Be A Traitor Sow!' tour.
Hry Tonk, thanks for checking in. Will I get to introduce you to the rest of my Family this summer?
Rev Al's driver is not as adept at being let go as Doctor Raoul's!
I really think they DO want us to lose though. When I see the coverage of Sheehan and most importantly, the war...the breathless nature of it..they are almost gleeful.
I heard, I believe it was a General on Tim Russert, say that the media is covering the progress of the war SOLELY on casualities....not on objectives. That had the same thing been done on D-Day, we would be calling it a failure. Russert's reply was of course defensive...and not really responsive. He still insisted on his "reality" The General said that the media does not put the casualities in context, so that naturally they report it in a defeatist way.
TC? I knew how much I loved my kids. I really had no idea how much I was going to love my grandchildren. It's something fierce and wonderful and graceful.
It's nice to hear that! (I'm still stuned that you have grandchildren ... dang, you're well-preserved!) It's hard to imagine that I could ever love anyone as much as I love James; but then, I haven't seen Baby Whosis yet!
"They'll be in Atlanta on 9-11, we'll have to give them
a reminder of just what this is all about."
Amen. . . Which will piss them off the most, drivin' my gas guzzlin' Navigator there or my loud arse Harley? Btw, where will it be held in Atlanta?
And that's why we must complete this mission. My own child had to fight in this war because of some very bad policies and evil thugs running amuck. I don't want war in my grandchildren's time.
This mission must be completed and won.
Excellent point! I don't want my children to end up fighting a war that should have been won long before. As the saying goes, "We have the technology." We just need the determination.
