One tornado warning. Wind blowing about 30 MPH on and off. MY baby trees have blown over again. :-( After Ivan I replanted them, after dennis I replanted them and put some poles down. But the poles have come up with the trees. Guess Iwill have to go deeper with the support poles.
Has anyone heard anything about the condition of St. Tammany Parish? Specifically interested in the lakefront area of Mandeville.
That can be heartbreaking. I have a friend in Greenville who lost 200 year old oaks after Ivan went through.
Watching channel 12 news...We had a tornado touch down here in Tallassee--about 2 miles from my house. Tore thru the woods for several miles and the only property damage was it squashed a boat. That is the best thing about livin' in the middle of no where, not enough porperty to damage or lives to lose. Anyway, I didn't even know it until I turned on the news. Didn't hear a freight train or anything, LOL!
