But will they have to go through Tenn to get to NO? It's gonna be really hard to get there.
Gotta try to sleep. I have cried myself sick. Tomorrow is going to be sobering. Goodnight and please ping with updates.
"Thanks; I've lost track of the meaning of words."
That was funny!
I think you were the one who commented earlier about the host on CNN getting on your nerves, weren't you? I'm feeling the same way, though the CNN coverage itself is great.
Guess he is their regular late night host, but wish they had picked someone else for tonight.
Oh my, showing video of an earlier interview in Mobile of a man whose house split in two and his wife was swept away. Walking the street in despair looking for her.
CNN cameraman said it about 20 min ago.
OMG, this is awful.
I tell you, these "unknown" reporters are doing a fabulous job, aren't they?
I posted to you before - my understanding is the causeway (the one you posted a picture of) is fine. It is the I-10 bridge that is gone or badly damaged. It is on the right side of the lake in this picture.

Causeway was underwater at one point (reportedly), so it's considered shaky at best until they get the Corps Of Engineers out there to inspect it.
I understand. Just remember your prayers for those who are still alive.
Hate to be harpy, but LA has as many swamps as FL, why didn't they have airboats staged at areas around the state?
Good Night
From what I know so far St. Bernard is under water so it's not good. She also had an old dog that could barely walk so hopefully she got out in time.
Probably not salvagable. They will be under water for many weeks. The plaster and most glued board product will be shot. The wood will soak up too much water and be near impossible to dry and work with.
Airboats, swamp buggies .. road them in the Everglades several times .. ex had one. They need very little water on which to skim, so they'll help a lot.
The CNN lady reporter was half crying listening to that man who was distraught over his wife.
I was wondering about her tonight, hoping she's doing well.
Wherever she is, I'm sure she's chewing somebody's butt out......LOL.
You mean the ones that got blown away?
Good night also. The tooth fairy finished her job, and now I get to go to sleep. Need to say some prayers tonight for those poor people.
No reason to keep acting like you're harping. We're all doing it.
I was just thinking to myself that NO better come up with a plan now, because next time, ALL those people will be leaving.
