The Causeway goes N/S across the lake according to google earth... the one that was destroyed is a different one, but appears to be similarly constructed.

Causeway was underwater at one point (reportedly), so it's considered shaky at best until they get the Corps Of Engineers out there to inspect it.

I think I understand. There is a shorter one that runs E/W Right?
Google would be more of a help if some of the main websites were not down. I think the host servers were located in NO.
