"...You can pray...."

Believe me, Mary, I do pray. Don't worry about that.

"Shep reporting on Fox. ... worst of the storm is over. Severe flooding on the Eastern side of the city."

As far as Shep is concerned I suppose. I would bet that people in the flooded areas and with the hurricane still upon them would say otherwise.

"Sounds like the French Quarter might get a much needed street cleaning but not the predicted apocalypse. Never liked the smell there, stale beer and vomit."

Bet it will smell worse before it starts to smell better. Raw sewage infected flood water smells pretty bad too.

Re: "That's nothing; during Hugo the USS Narwhal (SSN-671) broke it's mooring lines and had to submerge in the Cooper River channel. Hurricane mooring lines consist of six 3/4 inch steel cables, doubled."

Never heard that before...

People should just report what he said and keave it at that. We can all interpret it as we wish. Saying he ordered looters shot is the kind of crap that will be used by the left to discredit him.

How big is Biloxi?

I don't think it's very big. I haven't been there in years though.
