Category 4 Hurricane Katrina is approaching landfall in Eastern Louisiana. At 4:00AM EDT the storm's center was about 90 miles south of New Orleans.

As far as Shep is concerned I suppose. I would bet that people in the flooded areas and with the hurricane still upon them would say otherwise.
He didn't say "shoot" but there sure was an insinuation there.

Bet it will smell worse before it starts to smell better. Raw sewage infected flood water smells pretty bad too.

People should just report what he said and keave it at that. We can all interpret it as we wish. Saying he ordered looters shot is the kind of crap that will be used by the left to discredit him.
I don't think it's very big. I haven't been there in years though.
As one who scoffed last year at the "Haley for President" talk..it's quite possible that he will shine in the coming months..Very impressive performance...definitely VP potential..Think McCain wouldn't love Barber on his ticket?
