Mike Keller, a resident of Biloxi, Mississippi, stands in the rain while mooning Hurricane Katrina just after dawn August 29, 2005... A true "hold muh beer and watch this moment",

I believe it's much more securely anchored (as are most museum ships) than your average operating vessel just secured to a pier.

But when I bad I'm better.....:o)
I think you'll still have the event.....they'll have that hotel fixed before they fix Ma and Pa Kettles home down there IMO.....money is served first. But then if it's all bad you may have to share your room with fifty or so refugees.
Good luck on your song......what are ya singing or is that a secret ?

"I watching TV and freepin. Sorry I can't help you out. The only reason I'm jumping between CNN and MSNBC is because most people here are watching Fox."
At least you don't have to be running back and forth to the tube in the next room...I'm envious!;-)

Other than the flooding that will occur, it looks like NO really dodged a bullet. More like the bullet missed NO's vital organs.

Does anyone have a WDSU TV live stream reflector address that is working?

Huey Long assassinated in Baton Rouge.
Shouldn't this be in 'breaking news'?

Still standing!
Looks like concrete and steel win this round.
Good deal.

What a grandstanding, phony, pompous ass he is. And Shepard Smith is his spawn.

That's one amazing satellite photo and thanks.

If it sunk most of it would still be above the water line.

New Orleans is a LONG WAY from out of the woods. Anyone reporting otherwise is an ABSOLUTE FOOL!

Some guys on FR like the drama, even if it means bad things. They do not like to hear good news.

8 feet in Arabi? It's not out way off in the boonies...but it's near east New Orleans, by Bayou Bienvenu, probably pretty close to the eye wall. I used to live in New Orleans East and go to church in Arabi....wow...

Cell phones aren't working, but they do have land line communication. SBC must be glad to hear that ...
