OK. We all know the Left has become so unhinged that they blame Bush and the right for all the ails of the world. But never content to simply ascribe man-made evils upon us, the Left has now broken (wetted?) new ground by blaming President Bush for Hurricane Katrina and all the damage that is sure to ensue. Here are a few examples:
"in a poor neighborhood".... Say no more."
"Most sickening thing I have ever seen in this country... Where is the f*&^%$g FEDERAL GOVERNMENT?"
" Heartbreaking...and sickening. Gee, where's our National Guard? Oh that's right. They're in Iraq."
"If it turns out there is loss of life because of the NG being tied up in Iraq in an elective war there will be hell to pay.
The National Guard exists for emrgencies just like this one.
"It's too soon to tell. But we will find out. And if that's the case it falls squarely on Bushitler's evil shoulders and there is another count of impeachment against him. I hate that f*&^#r."
">>I hate that f*&^#r<< So do I. With a passion."
"that would mean the federal government gives a s**t can't be having that. people will think they're special or something."
"Couldn't be any uglier As I said on an earlier thread this storm has the potential to easily kill more people than 9/11. The WWL feed had one of the Parish Presidents on and when he commented that approximately 20% of his residents had no way to get out, the interviewer asked what would become of these folks? His only answer was grim, "they will become part of the search and rescue mission tomorrow".
"With the National Guard spread out all over I would hope that someone is planning to mobilize regular forces from Polk and other nearby bases, but I am afraid that the only thing going on in Crawford is Rove trying to determine where the best post-storm photo ops will be for Bush."
" These people being stranded and herded like cattle is criminal It's CRIMINAL!!!!!
I can't stand it, this country is going to s**t, and the proof is when you have people in harm's way and very little resources to help them. What the hell did they ever do to deserve this? Doesn't the Christian God love these people, too?
I saw a car with a "Proud To Be An American" bumpersticker today and it was all I could do to keep from ramming into it. I wanted to yell at him, "What the hell are you so f*****g proud of?"
The haves, the have mores, and the never-will-have. Proud to be an American, my a**."
I think I saw the same DU thread. Those guys are hilarious.
All I can do is laugh at these folks. Maybe they will all see their respective therapists this week and pharmaceutical companies will see record profits.
What is truly sickening about this is, these people can vote..I wish someone, somewhere, would invent a DUMBASS switch..whenever you run across a DUMBASS, you push the button and they go away..
You know.. at first DU used to make my blood boil.
But now I just Laugh and laugh.
Today we nuked one idiot troll invoking Kyoto from just that angle.
When we in Central Florida got hit with three hurricanes within six weeks last year, we got through it in spite of the liberals. They were real easy to spot; they were the ones that sat on that fat, dead asses in their blown-out trailers refusing to even lift a finger to help themselves. All they did was cry for handouts and rave about how "Bush doesn't care about us little people" to the legions of reporters who sought these people out like they were diamonds. Virtually unreported was the efforts of countless thousands of normal, productive people who worked their tails off to clean up and rebuild and help each other out.
If you liberals care so much aboput the people in Katrina's path, why don't you start raising money and organizing efforts to bring water, ice, building materials and all the other things that will be in short supply to the folks who'll need them to start putting their lives back together? But that's right, you might just have to pass on buying that next baggie of pot if you do that. Far better to blame Bush instead. So screw you - we conservatives will, like we always do, take care of things ourselves.
The Superdome was opened this morning to provide a safe harbor for those who are unable to leave the city (started with the old and infirm, then to whoever else had need). It can house 70,000 and is high enough that flooding should not be an issue. My brother said it took over three hours to go 100 miles while leaving the city earlier today.
I find it unfathomable that the DUmmies could possibly attempt to blame Bush for any of this? Last time i checked, there was only one God in the universe and Bush wasn't him. As far as the National Guard goes, I don't know about them, but the Coast Guard is a strong presence in New Orleans, and I know the coasties are working hard to protect and help those who are in need.
----I saw a car with a "Proud To Be An American" bumpersticker today and it was all I could do to keep from ramming into it. I wanted to yell at him, "What the hell are you so f*****g proud of?"----
Certainly not citizens like him.....
Wait until all of the "If We Had Only Ratified KYOTO" articles start to hit.
Cool it.
What about Sen Landreau. It IS HER state after all.
If these morons hate this country so much then WHY DON'T THEY F*$KING LEAVE!
So um... I went to the link... and well... I didn't see any of these quotes...
They are busy right now rewriting the history books and blaming the Bush family for all past hurricanes.
Nahh, if there were not intentionally designed defects then life would be no fun! God knew what he was doing. We would have no one to make fun of if it were not for these clowns.
The Kyoto Treaty banned hurricanes an tsunamis, why didn't the Sierra Club file a federal lawsuit to get a liberal judge file a restraining order against it? Greenpeace could have confiscated all the hot air. (We know it is really all Jeb Bush's fault for letting the hurricane get past Florida...)
Someone should inform these cretins that the LA National Guard have been working on this for the past two days. One Sgt. being interviewed presently at the Super Dome.
Surely the White House can get the CIA to come up with some kind of document to show an al-Qaeda connection ;-)
