HEADS UP: There is an anti-war protest planned by the Westboro Baptist Church in Martinsville, IN tomorrow during a Soldier's funeral.
I first heard about it was from a chatter earlier today on MSN chat who was requesting help with bail tomorrow. I subsequently visited the church's website and found confirmation of their plans.
The chatter stated that the entire town would be turning out for the funeral and that people are "ready and waiting" for these protestors. He also stated that he wasn't sure the local PD would protect these protestors. I am hoping cooler heads prevail...
Here is the info on the planned protest copied from the Westboro Baptist Site:
August 28, 2005 1:30 pm 2:00 pm Martinsville, IN Neal & Summers Mortuary, 110 E. Poston Rd., for funeral of Army Staff Sgt. Jeremy W. Doyle
Someone needs to start digging into where Fred is getting the money.
Good on ya - excellent siterep.
Thanks for going - If this crew shows their faces in Upper East Tennesee - well, .....
I will try to get creative, We lost some men of the 278th as well.
They cannot be any more evil. They should freaking be arrested and hauled away from there. Enough is enough. This nation has gone mad.
Yes I did
These anti american crowds are SICK!
I find it interesting that this group and Cindy's group are VERY similar....but, I wonder if Cindy's new "boyfriend" would like this group, anymore that we like Cindy's group????
I wonder where in Indianapolis they will be. The site doesn't say and city is too large to search around in your car for them.
When you click on the info for Indy all you get is a request to host or house for the tour...hahaha!!
Cheapos.
Wonder if they are a tax exempt organization being as they are a "church"? I'd like to see them protest ata funeral for any of my friends . There would be SERIOUS problems in town that day . How sick can you get?
Dont seem like the Angels I knew
Went to the web site. That is one demented man who's running it. Anyone with an obcession with gays must have serious sexual issues of their own . Bet he's a closet cross dresser or something .
That said, I'd like to see the IRS look into these guys...the listing of their upcoming events includes protests all over the country and even one in Sweden. That's a lot of flight miles for some little "church" with hardly any members and zero popularity. Wouldn't surprise me if they get checks from Soros or some similar fifth columnist.
Oh, and don't miss the after action reports in the last few posts of the thread. They're great!
no doubt..Probably the same money source as Cidy ..This country is going mad and we're all putting up with too much bullsh*t in general.I'd pay to see some X Marine puch this jerks face in .That's whats really needed sometimes.
I don't want to discourage lawlessness or violence...but I would like to note that anybody who punched one of these punks outside a funeral would be bulletproof as far as being convicted by any jury. In fact, I don't think these pukes have a First amendment right to do this kind of protest at a funeral, because it falls under the fighting words exception.
Ant decent cop wpuld look the other way I'm sure.I'm not one for violence but hey , lets be real . One good old fashioned beating would give this nut something to think about the next time he plans a sick event like this . Smak him around and tell him these more on the way if he does it again .It's worked well MANY times in the past in other situations.
They went through a major change about 20 years ago, learning that running a few legitimate businesses took some of the heat off the meth monopoly, occasional extortion, etc. Id still rather buy one a beer than cross him, but their emphasis now is definitely away from the gratuitous violence. Violence has its use, but it should only be used when it contributes to the Greater Good of the Hells Angels.
These guys are nothing but commie agent provocateurs generating press time for gullible readers on the left.
They are no more a "church" or "Christians" than the man in the moon, and somebody needs to investigate and publish who they really are and how they are funded.
