Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.

But you know the media have to report on these imminent disasters, and my concern for a potentially huge loss of life by Monday-Tuesday is from this vicious storm that's steaming toward the Central Panhandle, and New Orleans is definitely in the picture. New Orleans' topography and road system make evacuation very cumbersome and long.
That population HAS to be frequently made aware of it, and what the latest NHC info is. They're micro-monitoring every aspect of this storm, attempting to disseminate everything they can for storm safety and the prevention of loss of life. Also, the New Orleans officials will be frequently updating with their critical announcements.
I know the timing is bad .. but it's obviously in God's timing, and I pray for the great patriots in Crawford and the folks in the path of this frightening storm.
Is anyone down in texas emailing pics of the huge crowd there to the MSM? Can they see any reporters there maybe doing the story for the evening news?
Well, I wonder if he is a neighbor! That would be great. A lot of Europeans have purchased ranches here in E TX. The Prince of Liechtestein may still have a place near Clarksville.

EEK! I used to live in New Orleans, and just looked at the predictions for landfall..I hope all my friends are taking your advice...
But if I were living back in Texas where I lived before I moved to Utah, I'd be heading to Crawford!
That's basically what I wrote in my email. If the folks in LA are in areas that are being evacuated, then they're not very likely to be watching FOX National News for updates. And the people in the unaffected parts of the country don't need wall-to-wall coverage. There is other news going on.
