Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.
It was hot enough out there without the smoker blazing away beside you all day.

I saw the FNC interview with Shemane Nugent. The rats kept showing background video of the B**** in the Ditch.
It is clear that FNC did not get video in Crawford yesterday. They blew it - big time.

Worldnetdaily, today, is featuring a pictoral, I think 157 pics (per Yahoo) of events and situations concerning Crawford. I'm convinced, without a doubt, the MSM is trying to kill the Sheehan story. She failed. When she began spouting her marxist robotic slogans, exhibiting no sophistication or class whatsoever, I had observed the MSM doing "sheehan" on overkill. Meaning? They want her 15 mins to be up REALLY quickly.
There was this one pic of "Turk Women Support Cindy". I was stunned that Yahoo would publish this print. Like, yeah.. not like every country in the world hasn't had trouble with Turkey.
Wow, that was quite a "statement" to me.

Well one story doctored the picture or the guy was holding their sign. When I find it, I'll send it. Be advised, I was scouring the web all day looking for coverage...so Lord knows where I saw it.

You're 100% right. We emailed and called them to death. Some of us NYers and D.C. area folks want to freep them.
Those a Protest Warrior signs and they are in black and white which, I see, Cinderblok chose to wear as well. It's unfortunate but I think the Protest Warriors (our guys) were mistaken for Cindy's crowd.

Strange how much of a contrast there is between the two groups. The pro-Bush rally looks like happy, well adjusted, good hard working Americans.

That's Protest Warrior. They're the guys and gals that show up to leftist protests with signs like "Besides slavery, fascism, and communism--WAR NEVER SOLVED ANYTHING!". They're great.

Re your post about the Protest Warrior being 'terrified' by the reaction he encountered, I've been thinking that if people like Cindy keep this up, we'll be on the verge of civil war. Or am I being an alarmist. You can't not protest because that let's her POV be the ONLY one but at the same time, what happend to Gil or whoever it was of the PWs that got shaken up, shows me the depth of feeling is really running high on our side because we've been silent for so long...maybe too long, and in order to make ourselves heard we have to shout louder now.

Sorry guys, for the misunderstanding in Crawford. With a crowd as big as was there yesterday, I expect there were more than a few folks who weren't familiar with Protest Warrior's sign style.

There's little coverage today of anything except the hurricane but Ed Lavendera did a good piece and gave our side lots of coverage ending with the horses with the signs on their bums and he said in Crawford and Texas "what they think of Cindy can be put on the back end of a horse!" WoooHooo! Thank-you CNN. But FOX's report was crappy. Made mention of the fact both sides email them when they report on Crawford and then showed double coverage of Cindy with her shit-eating grin and the phony baloney caring and sharing they all do with her. Lots of Cindy pics in her brown T walking, in her white T by the roadside waving at cars, in another T in the tent hugging and kissing, then sitting listening to the speaker, plus more of Cindy. UN-FLOCKINGBELIEVABLE! FOX is no longer carrying our banner and seems to be swinging left. Seriously so.
Yesterday they ran Cindy's whiney new ad (which is quite long) twice! I emailed them last night that I will not watch them anymore till that ad is taken off. We don't have ads...why should she? FOX must be getting some big bucks from somewhere.
